Quick patch question

Experiencing some lag with the smoke so i wish to install the medium quality patch. the problem is where do i exactly paste it?

Well, the patch contains a particle system txt file... You need to put it into your Age of Blackpowder: Realm of Revolution module folder. ( C/ProgramFiles/Mount&Blade/Modules/AgeofBlackpowder...) Ok but that method of replacing the data , it wont work as i get message saying "check the path and file name are correct" ? then i get a message saying i dont have permission to do that. although it does allow me to replace the whole file with a new one like the patch.

Dear god. Go to where the Module file is.
And then paste the particle_system.txt file in there. And overwrite. Then done!
