This is a mod, but it's not on MBrepository yet. It will be done in few days, a week the most. It's a 3 months work of a friend of mine. He didn't get to post the descriptions of the mod and you are allready making 10 replies...

It's a Medieval 2 Total War: Kingdoms mod for Mount and Blade or at least it started out as such. No texture looks the same as in Mount&Blade some are new, some are edited.

Factions are:
  • Byzantine Empire
  • Seljuk Sultanate (The Turks)
  • Principality of Antioch
  • Kingdom of Jerusalem
  • Mamluk Sultanate

For those who don't know who's who (from Wikipedia):

The Principality of Antioch, including parts of modern-day Turkey and Syria, was one of the crusader states created during the First Crusade.

The Seljuq Empire was a Persianate medieval Sunni Muslim empire of Turkish origin founded by Tugrul Beg in 1037 after the efforts by the founder of the Seljuq dynasty, Seljuq Beg. It once controlled a vast area stretching from the Hindu Kush to eastern Anatolia and from Central Asia to the Persian Gulf. From their homelands near the Aral sea, the Seljuqs advanced first into Khorasan and then into mainland Persia before eventually conquering eastern Anatolia.

The Kingdom of Jerusalem was a Christian kingdom established in the Levant in 1099 after the First Crusade. It lasted nearly two hundred years, from 1099 until 1291 when the last remaining possession, Acre, was destroyed by the Mamluks.

The Mamluk Sultanate was a regime composed of mamluks who ruled Egypt and Syria from the mid-1200s to the early 1500s.

The Byzantine Empire or Eastern Roman Empire, known to its inhabitants as the Roman Empire, was the continuation of the Roman Empire during the Middle Ages, centered on its capital of Constantinople, and ruled by Emperors in direct succession to the Roman Emperors.

lol Vadermath thats quite a lot of crusader mods you like
yeah i think this is pretty cool...
except if you add hitler as the jerusalem king (i dont know why i said that but i wouldnt like the mod with a faction leader like that in the crusades  )

Crusader Kings isn't a mod, it's a game, made by Paradox. They've made the best wargames for years now, like Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, and Victoria series...

the problem about the is that there isnt much war about the battles.. only random numbers showing up over the head of the army

I honestly didn't mind, having my dynasty is what I liked (and still do) about it. And that's the way most grand wargames do it anyway, especially EU, HOI etc.

just a suggestion.. update the first post.. add what factions will be in, eventualy what gameplay improvements you will add etc

okey.. with the new update i actully think this mod looks quite good, nice pics and textures
