hi this is my first major mod which is based on 18th century combat
I need a Mapper!!
to do list:
new factions - done
new troops - done
new items - done
new sounds - done
lord names and equipment - in process
new map - planned
sea battles - planned
factions:
Prussia
England
France
Russia
Italy

not savegame compatible
reworked troop tree!!
changed armor and damage factors of some items
changed skills of troops
looters are now big revolution parties
english troops are now british
american troops are now continental

I asked for permission to implement hats waiting for an answer now^^
I will add more factions if a new map is done
there are maybe some bugs post it please if you find any

I'm adding america because I think it would be a good faction.This mod isn't historical exactly.I want to add some historical faction to make somethink like world war in 18th century^^

i don't think they've made a "new world" mod yet for 1.011
and good for you for pretty much completing it before going public
some mods are just people with ideas but no work done....

and Portugal was a large power in the new world
and Prussia???
never heard of them in the new world (i have heard of them though) :grin:

i would personally prefer a native american v new world explorer type theme than world war :smile:
 
yes but the first mod isn't going very well so I spend my time more to this mod

Nice first step, but muskets are from 17c and look bad.
Increase [or decrease armor value ]musket damage. Add some hats [ tricorne etc] .
In 18c France had white uniforms [ in this mod british oficer`s one ] and Prussians had that is French one in mod
 
Nice! I've been looking for a 18th century mod to keep me occupied while waiting for Empire Total War.
 
Oh Is there any important difference between white and light gray?
On the link you`ve post there is white uniforms and that blue ones are for altillery.

i love huge regiments of musketeers absolutely slaughtering eachother  :twisted:
 
delete all hatches for 18c infantry  and  musket as lance  in cavalry, that is stupid.
every promoted to higher rank unit  should have better abilities [ in your mod every unit has 90 in firearms]
increase musket and pistol damage and reduce armor of uniforms.

yes but I'm not really a modeller or texturer so I must wait till someone release a mod with this and than asking him for permission
