He died of a freak accident while hunting I believe. gl
there are a lot of theories about his death but non of it is clear. the accident didn't kill him though.

there was a legend in present day Gansu, China (former Xixia) He was recovering from the accident in a cave after the accident and realize he doesn't have that long to live, age is catching up to him, and they say thats the cave is where he made his future plans for his son.

the other legend was he was having sex with the Tangut queen he captured, and the contraption in her genital tore his penis off and he died from the pain

holy.....****....well we know thats not right cause if you watch the BME pain olympics you can see the infamous guy cutting his penis AND balls off and he didnt die...thus i dount genghis died that way.

how many years of medical difference?
someone could easily bleed to death, get gang green and the list goes on and on compared to what people can do and live through today. **** the cleanliness of the knives is cause enough to die/live

Also note that people back then were a lot tougher, due to the lack of the amenities which we enjoy and a much harsher lifestyle/workload.  Look at some of the torture devices used back then, for example.  The sort of damage dealt by some of the contraptions in those times wouldn't amount to torture at all on the average modern person as much as they would a pretty painful death.  They would go into shock fairly within maybe a minute of, say, being disemboweled.  Yet, torture was often supposed to be a very slow, painful death.  I dare say that's the point, in fact... Therefore, I can see why it would be a little far-fetched to have "died from the pain" as was originally suggested.  Blood loss and gangrene notwithstanding.

No i dont think this is a good idea because there is always someone who will take major offence at it and do something drastic, not me personay but there will allways be someone

Meh I dont see why it would actually offend women except those who've got nothing to do  . I mean, we all already saw in a movie or another game  great commanders resting in their tents with women they captured during the battles (movies exemple: Troy with Brad pitt,  Beowulf - Games exemples: Well... I can just think of God of war right now but theres 3 or 4 so that's enough I guess  )
And I believe it is quite easy to think of troops being more favorable to you because you provide them women = Morale boost in the game. Still if it's too hard you shouldn't bother with such a feature since it's really minor in a way.

I think the contraption between her legs might have ROTTED off his penis, syphialis and whatnot, but i doubt that they shoved a bear trap up there...
not to mention the fact that it is hard to make a spring that is powerful and small, not to mention something that is small enough to be shoved up a vag and not be noticed by a guy who, frankly, has seen more in his life time than the modern porn industry. You think he would have said "Hey, wait a moment, i've never seen one with a giant chunk of metal hanging out of it..."

and anyway we all know mongols could never die from PAIN they eat pain and **** lightning lol

Now to the topic at hand, women were a trading commodity to the Mongols, so yeah it is a good way to add historical accuracy, as mentioned above, chinghis khaan personally saw to the "advancement of his race" by spreading his seed into every uterus in his path (my family is actually descended from him). But the problem is that they would need to be herded like cattle, or maybe follow you like a lord who is ordered to? They wouldn't be in your inventory because that would be weird, but i have no idea how you could make them like cattle or lords without them joining your party when you go into battle or you having to herd them everywhere.

There are 2 things i can think of how to make women loot.
1 Take like a surgery book make it look like a woman and instead of it giving you surgery it gives you morale.

or

2 Make them a food item and just tell everyone your troop are taking there share of them over time.
What do you guys think?

No thank you, Cheezbot. The mod is dead. I'm sorry to upset you, but that's the truth.
Mongol mod has a horrible past, and we gave up trying to recover after the troublemaker requested a perma-ban.

I jacked the mod because I was sick of doing the majority of the work.  If someone wants the module files I can have loneh publish them for people to continue the mod.  I myself have no intentions of helping this ever again.

Also, if you're going to say that the mod slowed down after Pali left, then at least realise that the majority of the work he 'did' do, which we scrapped for the beta anyway - wasn't his work, AT ALL.  He used zaro's meshes, he used the HUG minilist and various other things.  The main workers were Kongol and I, Pali did the item editing and various other tweakable things (which later turned out to be useless because he only ever used the editors).

I'm not going back into the world of **** that kicked off because of certain lies and what not.  But The mod died when it's 2 best members left and neither of those members were Pali.  Heck, after Pali left I even did an entire array of armorus for the Jin, but now all of my work is apart of Calradia Rising and I'm continueing to work for them and the Fallout series.

Good luck to anyone on here, but..seriously - just let this forum die.

So I'm supposed to do what?  Add a miniature model of a woman as an item and "assume" they take women out with them on search parties? ;o

Uhh, something wouldn't figure  :???:

Question: Will they be a food source?

Well you can technically eat women so why not? ;o  +200 morale boost, and a x2 modifier to enrage and sprint ability :p

Hello, Clarice. . .

Not to get controversial and bust anyone's chops, but the average porn-addicted teenage male video gamer is enough of a chauvinist already; do we really need to feed that tendency even more? The historical angle is completely valid, but maturity is a concern worth having too.

Point of interest: While this forum hosted this discussion, Prophesy of Pendor generated this feministic extravaganza. Hooray, diversity!

Well, my first opinion was kind of like rage-fu. But of course, that is just my sexism radar going off. Anyways, not to be misogynistic, but I do believe it is very historically accurate. Just to give my $0.02 of course.

What's more important to you, historical accuracy and depth of the game or funny fanfares of today's political correctness? Hell, would you make a game about Rome or Greece without slavery, game about Crusades without slaying infidels, game about conquest of Americas without genocide of local population? I can hardly see how women can take history itself as an insult. They should be rather proud of them that they changed the history in the XXth century and laugh from the misery of the past, where hunter-gatherer societies evolved into agricultural constructs and eventually civilisations largely based around patriarchal model of power.

Pretty much yes and also for that reason it's funny anyone voted against 'should women be form of loot?'
