Already taken care of. One I get the rigging to my satisfaction, I'll do some more variants as well.

But I really must say: Don't use on horseback. Not only does it clip the horse, for some strange reason, rigged helmets shift downwards when mounted..
 
I look forward to using these packs but whenever I open my inventory or look in a shop that appears to have the item with the texture it freaks out, and I CTD. Any known reason for this. I gave my self a musket that used one of the models from OSP_Firearms and one of the armors that used a model from mod_armor. This happen before I added in the armor one so maybe it has something to do with that? What is that about the shaders? If you don't do whatever that is do you get a CTD?
 
well... it shouldn't CTD - rather the m&b screen should shrink, and an RGL window pops up and tells you which dds/texture is missing - so you can bug hunt it. maw
 
well I actually fixed that bug I was having with your armor but whenever I do said things the screen goes black and I get a 'Don't Send' 'Send' error report. No rgl error, it just crashes. Not sure why.
 
Said things as in seeing the musket model in inventory or part screens. Weird thing is it works fine during a battle. I do use the module system as well as troop and item editors. I also have done some text tweaks. But none related to models.

Edit: I took a look at the rgl_log and it appears to be having so weird errors. Any ideas?

I'm not 100% this is the cause, but I thought maybe someone could get something out of it. The problem continues to be only when I'm in the; Character Screen while my guy is wearing the armor ( Which I start out with), Inventory Screen, And Party Screen whenever I click on someone who has the item with the certain models. Since it appears to be all models I put in maybe I screwed something up?

Sorry if this doesn't help at all.

Edit 2: I looked at some of the faq links and I got another link pointing towards this thread if BRF models make you game crash or glitch when looking at them. But I'm not sure how this would help since it doesn't seem to be happening to others.

i used to do that and had a lot of undefinable problems - i'm thinking this is why its difficult to pin.

i'm just gonna say use only one or the other. the problem will become apparent.

try taking the musket out completely - if there are no issues, yiou'll have id'd the source problem. maw
 
i can't speak for anyone else, but the OSP packs i submitted get updated when theres aenough to make it worthwhile. for instance, when i had another 100 armors, i released an update. when i hit the magic number on horses, i'll do the same.

i would image the response would be - when it's worth the manager's time. maw
 
Im new at this and im wondering where can i find information about how to add these items into the game?
 
ok so i found how to add them in-game, but i ran into some new problems.
i downloaded the armor pack and it was good, a few armors that turned up black i brfedit, no biggie.

then i downloaded the helmets pack and suddenly 70% or so of the helmets are completly black, while the others work fine, and im very curious why? is it just the downloaded files that are messed up? cause i re-extracted them and it was the same problem.
also all the helmets needs to be rotated but it takes alot of time to rotate them one by one, so is there a way to rotate all of them at the same time?
 
Bin out of the loop for a while, and have dropped making new models.  Now that I'm back, I'm going to try my had and modding game mechanics.  The models I have given out (should still be on the repository) are free to use, and if you find anything with my name on it, you can add it to the OSP.  I have also created a few modular castle/fort/wall pieces too.

Most of the mods I built these parts for seemed to have died off (I hit the scene too early in M&B dev.), so I don't think anyone can lay claim to the stuff I have made.  Free for all!

i havent added them in-game yet. they appear black when i view them in brfedit.
the weird part is that not all of them are black, some of them work just fine except i need to rotate them(btw,is there a way to rotate all of them at the same time?).
so if the problem had been what you mentioned wouldnt all of them be black?
