The Mercenary
Grandmaster Knight

Holy Swadian Empire
The remnants of the Old Calradian Empire, the Swadians still maintain incredible power. While under attack from all sides and having a crumbling infrastructure, the Swadians are still extremely dangerous. While their past glory is gone, these noble Lords still fight to maintain their control, with horse and lance.

Mercenaries (Second troop tree is females)
In the chaos that consumes Calradia, people everywhere have taken up arms. These soldiers, as well as others who have come from far away lands, readily fight for gold and silver. While expensive to maintain, the mercenaries that can be found in Calradia are excellent fighters. This applies to the honourable warriors who can be found in taverns to the dishonourable looters who roam the countryside in medium sized war parties, burning and plundering as they do.

Bandits
In the wars that rage in Calradia, farmers, former soldiers, and nobles alike have had their homes destroyed and their families butchered. Some of these homeless wanderers band together, and, finding no other way to sustain what remains of their families, waylay travelers, whether innocent or not. These outlaws are hunted down everywhere, and while courageous when confronted with smaller groups, they flee from the war parties of mercenaries and soldiers who burnt their homes.
