Ctrl+x not funtioning

I've looked around the forums, but everybody else with this issue either didn't have cheats enabled or didn't have an activated game. I've confirmed multiple times that cheats are enabled and tried multiplayer to see if my game wasn't activated. Both are confirmed, but ctrl-x both in and out of the inventory is not working.

You do not need ctrl+x for money.

Go character->statistics->export char
Go to your documents folder -> mb warband -> open with txt editor and change the amount of money you want. Save it.

Go back to statistics and import the char.
Dont mess to much around with the others stats...you will lose the long term fun and progress feeling of leveling.
