New Blog Schedule

[parsehtml]Let me start by apologising for the lack of a blog last week. We are truly sorry to have kept you waiting and I am personally sorry for announcing that it would come 1 day later. We have been discussing switching to a new schedule so we can divert some more attention to the ongoing beta and there was some confusion about whether this new schedule went into effect last week. So, the new schedule... From now on, we will be posting blogs every fortnight. We feel that this will be much more manageable in the long term and allow us to put more effort into both the blogs and with engaging with our players in the ongoing beta. We know this might be a little disappointing for some of you, but we feel that this is the best option moving forward. [/parsehtml]

If you guys are going to delay the dev blog or not have one, just make a post. It takes 30 seconds and would make us feel a lot more respected.

Telling us a new schedule and immediately not staying true to it without any heads up is just unprofessional.

100% agree.
I've been pretty forgiving/lenient (for lack of better terms) of Taleworlds these past years, but the lack of communication, especially where the beta is concerned, is really getting more and more frustrating.
 
My apologies for the delay, it will be posted ASAP. My mum came to visit so I was spending as much time as I could with her while trying to keep her and my partner from gossiping about me too much!

Did you have to get your mum's permission before posting the blog?
As far  as excuses go this really is pretty poor!
 
Yeh that really is a bad excuse. Fair enough you may not have had time to post the entire blog. But, you could have informed everyone that it would be delayed. As someone said previously, that would have taken 30 seconds of your time. Or another member of TW staff could have posted.

I didn't know that M&B beta duels were called "gossip".

Time with family is the most precious take as much as you want  :smile: we will wait

Imagine not being able to deliver a simple blog after two weeks and announce that it is going to be delayed.
If TaleWorlds is NOT paying for this task, if this is not a job, that is partially alright.
Bad PR anyway.
Family matters, sure. But this is adding up.
