Perhaps they are running out of topics they want to do blogs about. Saving some gameplay elements as a surprise. I know they mentioned something like that before.

I'm not so optimistic for "surprise" features, I think we know it all.

Exactly! Let's just wait and see what they serve up. For example we don't really know much about how marshals would work in the game yet or Diplomacy/Deep politics system.
