Will there be an easy way, in closed-beta and early access, to send reports (Like : press F10 to open a Form to fill with the issue, join a screenshot if needed, then press "Send") ?

First, thanks, Callum, for this wholesome blog and all your hard work !

The way of reporting feedback is the first question that comes to mind if i join open beta, would i be able to report feedback/issues with ease, and how?

It would be nice to know (for the following Dev Blogs) which of the announced content will be part of the Early Access and which will be added later. For Example: Some of the Beta player have recognized that one can not chose body weight and build in the character creator as shown back in 2016. Was this cut out, or will it be part of the character creation later?

Or many people wonder about the crafting system. We do not know much about this yet.

"It wasn’t our intention for Bannerlord to launch exactly 10 years after our previous game, Mount & Blade: Warband, was released, however, we do find it to be a rather amusing coincidence nevertheless!"

How dare you!? Is my suffering amusing to you!?

Killbotter (guy from picture) was streaming the other day, and seems like a cool guy. He had nothing but positive things to say about Taleworlds staff and Bannerlord.

Edit- didnt realize he commented above me lol

As for questions:
How long is it planned to be in early access?
Will the price change upon full release?
Will beta be ongoing until (or very close to) the launch of EA? If not, when will it close?
Will beta include an early iteration of ranking system for the matchmaking game modes?

I could ask a million question if I wanted, but I'll stop here.

I thought the exact same thing

Great blog and I just love the Early Access video.  It is the first time I have seen it and I can't help grinning just looking at it.
I have never been to Gamescom so I was a bit surprised at the number of players in the public area.  Congratulations to all for a successful Gamescom and keep at it.

When I first came to the beta a few months ago there was indeed both height and weight, it was later removed in a few patches after. The reason for this is that it became tedious on multiplayer where cavalry would pick the tallest character (for reach) and infantry would pick the smallest character (for speed) the build also messed up the hit boxes, so the fatter you were the easier it was to get hit. They only then included height (which the differences between tall and short were much larger than they are now) so it does exist and worked fine, it's just mainly for singleplayer.

After early access when it finally does release. Will console players have to wait another 7 years kind of how it was for ps4? Or will console see a release soon after or better yet same day? I understand that things are different between pc and consoles however with the next generation of consoles we are getting pretty close to power of a pc. So idk of that would make any difference in terms of what needs to be changed. Well anyways! Awesome game, wish I could play it right now! Keep up the good work and announce a mount and blade 3: Robber Baron like next year ok :fruity:

My questions are:

1) on cloth physics: is this feature still in the game? Can we expect any kind of human hair physics?

2) I didn't noticed the pommel bashing in any Gamescom / beta video so far, is it still a thing?

Lol thank you

As for the questions: The beta will probably last till ea.
And for the ranking systen: one guy that was standing with me asked that too, they said they will discuss it. Hopefully we get some kind of ranked mode.

Hope my answers were satisfying enough

Glad to hear that Gamescom went really well for the TaleWorlds team, and for everyone who got a chance to play! Now I’m just waiting for my chance to try the beta and then early access!

Here’s my questions as of right now:

1. What criteria are you basing the waves of invites for the beta on? I’m assuming computer specs mostly.

2. As others have asked, what systems are in place for reporting bugs etc. from within the beta?

3. Will the beta expand to include other game modes? I would love to get a look at captain mode, and possibly some multiplayer sieges etc.

4. Roughly what percentage of single player features and gameplay mechanics will be in game upon early access release? Many of the blog posts make it seem as though it will be nearly feature complete, while some suggest otherwise.

5. What challenges do you anticipate during the beta and leading up to the early access release, and how do you plan to overcome them?

6. What guidance can you provide to those who get invited to the beta to ensure that they provide you with the best possible feedback for improving the overall experience?

That’s it for now. Again, congrats for a successful expo, and I can’t wait to experience the game myself and to help perfect this long awaited masterpiece!
