However, this year, things are a little different... For the first time ever we will be presenting the game in both the business and public areas of the event. This means that anyone with a ticket can come along to one (or both!) of our booths to play the game for themselves. This is a completely new experience for us and we are sure there will be many unforeseen challenges that crop up, but, so far, our preparations have been going well and we are really excited to be able to show the game in (somewhat) its entirety!

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/122

Early access RELEASE DATE????!! For Single Player too?! FInally!!!! 7 months of waiting is a HELL of a lot better than an unknown potentially infinite amount of time. Great news! Also my friends will all be overjoyed at not hearing me complain about waiting for this for another 6 years! From the new trailer it all looks to be worth the wait. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS................................!!!
Doesent say it is also for singleplayer, we must wait and see the upcoming interviews in gamescom, we will get more info about everything for sure.
It would be a letdown if the early access would only apply for the multiplayer.

What did you see in the trailer ? There is already an open beta form for multiplayer. This is complete Bannerlord realease early accesss date.
There is a closed beta at the moment. So if EA doesent include singleplayer, it can be considered as THE open beta multiplayer they a nounced couple blogs eaelier when they revealed closed beta was already running.

Eight months from closed to open MP beta is way too much time even for Taleworlds' standards.

Early access kind of means that you'll have access to the whole game, as it is in that particular moment.

I can't but wonder what happened to Bannerlord in 2017 (which was supposed to be the year in which we will "have the game in our hands in one form or another) .
Must be some very stressful situation for Mr Yavuz and employees...
Well, i hope everything will end well. When i saw that starting music with a guitar solo in singleplayer video gamescom 2018, i got chills....

Maybe you should watch the news before you quote people and make imaginative assumptions... There is an open beta multiplayer coming (maybe today), the form is already online, i let you search the link... And the video is clear "Bannerlord Early Access" maybe you think it's too soon ?

If by "read the news" you mean stroll through every topic i can find on forum just for multiplayer- i`d rather not, singleplayer is my thing.
Enjoy if its turns out to be true though.

I have click on one link i've seen Bannerlord video and just after, iv'e read topic and see a Bannerlord open beta for multiplayer link to a registering online form. And guess what, i quoted nobody for "arguing" on if it's a release of singleplayer or mutli only because some of you can't understand a video ! And anyway this multiplayer early access beta multiplayer is so unrealistic that i don't know where you go search that idea: Talewords NEVER spoke about releasing the game in two parts.

I don't think it's open beta. Open beta means that you can share gameplay footage however you want. There is already closed beta for MP ongoing while we are talking here. TW probably wanted to increase the number of testers gradually with this url. That's probably the reason that they didn't announce it openly, that they may want only the most hardcore fans to access it. But the last part was speculation, they may just announce it in next few days or not.

Dude, you are starting to be passive aggressive towards me, its just a game, you seriously need to

What this is, of course, is a flag for a delayed release. What this is, is an attempt to get people off their backs for a while. What this means is that they THINK they can finally get it done by next year. Of course, after "narrowly missing" release dates for 4 years in a row, that's really subject to speculation.

I've read articles saying that the lead dev has micro-managed the whole thing, causing significant delays, while other articles have suggested that they were hoping for a buyout. I guess the Take-Two Interactive deal didn't go through?

The moral lesson? Don't believe anything but your own eyes. And pray it isn't the almost the same game engine with slightly improved graphics and a $60 price tag.

Never wrote you were stupid/saying stupid things, or insulted you in any way, i told you the info that is official by TW, and pointed out unofficial sources might not be true, not saying anything bad about you.
Tried to calm you down and make laughs out of this tension in the state of all out excitement after Bannerlord announcement, but clearly to no avail.
All the best !

Don't believe whatever you read, because they haven't said that they are going to release it four years in a row. Any articles suggesting they were hoping for a buyout are news to me, and I doubt they were written by any major games journalists, so you shouldn't assume there is anything factual behind such talk. "I guess the Take-Two interactive deal didn't go through?" Take Two deal?!??!....you say this as if it were something you know was genuinely a thing. I've never even heard of that rumour. It sounds like you've Googled Bannerlord, read half of the most obscure sites which mention the game, and taken everything you read as fact when it is probably pure conjecture written solely for the purpose of getting website visits.
