There seems to be a double space at the place where single space should be. Please take a closer look at the class description.

The text is simply Justified....leads to extra spaces throughout. Not a mistake

Thank you Callum. Great to hear the beta is now officially underway. Also we seem to be getting decent steady information flow and nice screens each week, which I am also enjoying immensely.

Thanks for new blog guys,

I am just thinking about this line "We think these changes will go a long way in preventing a snowball effect, in which the winning team just gets stronger with each consecutive round win"
It sound like good idea, but I hope that player who will play good and have a few kills in round will still get a nice gold rewards. For better equipment or for trade/share equipment like drop better shield to someone and etc.
But we will see, i hope for more info later

I like the changes made to the multiplayer system.
I know some people are unhappy to hear that gear customisation is lacking, but this should allow for a better mp experience. I’m sure mods will bring back the likes of mercenaries/cRPG.

I am more excited for the matchmaking than anything. I want to play against people my level, not Shin and Footbeard. Am I correct to assume it will include a ranking system and not just some casual matchmaking?

I'm going to miss being able to take off my boots but the system looks good. A succinct and well presented summary of the Captain Mode videos. Getting very keen

Bring on Bannerlord

Werent Ulfhednar a Battanian unit ? Dont answer a rhetorical question. I know they were.
I wonder why they are passed over to Sturgia.
Ulfhednar were Germanic warriors, maybe they are the common units of Sturgia and Battania ?

Think it is more of an overlap.  The Battanians are the Celtic type faction and the "Ulfhednar" of their faction are really more the Fianna of Irish tradition.  I definitely prefer the Ulfhednar myself, the Germanophile that I am...just hope they aren't very...metallic... in the game but more leathery and furry

That head dress looks a bit dangerous. All you'd need to do is cuff him on the back of the head and those teeth would stab him in the eyes!

Also interested what "Fighting Madness" means... is that a Perk?

Anyone got any idea as to what the "locked" tab in the top right hand corner of the first screenshot is?

To Callum: Will there be a paid cosmetics system in Warband? I despise lootboxes, so obviously I don't want them, but I wouldn't mind buying some cosmetics if they were reasonably priced.A system where all/almost all the cosmetics were unlockable through simple gameplay, but also available for purchase would be acceptable.

Would enjoy this so I can flex with my diamond sword in MP

I know. Though Battanians having Ulfhednar always confused me since we saw it. From what I have found from internet these were Germanic warriors. Though I must admit I am not familiar with this side of history. Maybe Germanics and Celtics of Britain coexisted ? Wait, isnt this the recipe of English people ?

Plus another confusion,
according to wiki Ulfhednar were wolf warriors while Berserkers were bear warriors but the ones wearing bear pelt in the game are named Ulfhednar while the wolf pelt wearing ones are falxmen.

Also what are Ulfhednar doing in Sturgia ? Sturgia is Kievan Rus which is Slav+Nord. I know Nord is Germanic but did they have Ulfhednar ? Maybe just rename their Ulfhednar Berserker ?

Also we have to see Battanian troops again we dont know if it is overlap like you said or did TW actually move Ulfhednar from Battania to Sturgia.

Edit: Hopefully that locked thing is about the game being in beta and not sth that can be unlocked with dlc.

First, thanks for the photo CkyHC.

As for the other stuff:

Well wearing wolf hides doesn't make you an Ulfhednar by default.  Other groups (like the Fianna) might have worn wolf pelts but they aren't "Ulfhednar".  As you said, Ulfhednar were Germanic warriors who revered the cult of the wolf/Wotan/Odin while the Berserkers wore bear pelts...these are all generalizations of course.  There supposedly were some who revered the boar too, though this isn't as well known.  The thing is, I don't think there were any real strict regulations about this stuff.

The English are a mixture of many things, but generally speaking the English derive from the Germanic Angles, Saxons, Jutes, and some Frisians.  Of course there has to be some level of Celtic Briton mixed in...they also mixed with some of the Celtic Welsh/Cornwall peoples, later Danes/Vikings, and in Scotland it was a mixture of several Celtic groups (Gaelic Scots, Celtic Picts, Celts of Strathclyde, Germanic Northumbrians, and Germanic Vikings of the islands, Sutherland, etc).
