well, animation for a feature already present in multiple mods, and DLC. To me this blog was pure smoke, nothing useful

If we look close enough, almost every BL feature was already there in some mod or DLC.

Having a number of wives and baring children and being able to take them into battle after a certain time should be an option aswell as the risk of them being killed in battle aswell as captured. If you guys agree please make this a thing its a must and a huge improvement for the m&b franchise <3

It would be difficult to make a ton of fresh new features. The features mods include are, for the most part, basic things that anybody could've thought up had they been given the task of making their dream M&B game. The challenge is making those mod features high quality enough to justify customers spending money to get.

Will they accomplish this? I would hope so given so many years of work!

I don't think this is a good idea.  I wouldn't like to see wives and children on the battlefield.  Warrior maidens are fine but not wives and certainly not children.

I Agree With you not children thats why i said after a certain amount of time when they are old enough to fight have your sons fight along side you, have you seen the tv show vikings? Like that.

i like the blog and feature but i still wish they would share a little more info into each of these features.

I would assume/hope being executed is a different possibility for every lord that captures you? Is relationship taken into consideration or is it only honor, if so how much.  is it just a fixed calculation on the amount of honor/dishonor you have.  Are you captured every time you lose. odds on being captured/escaping if you lose? Cant tell you how many times i killed every single enemy including knocking the lord unconscious and he escapes.
i liked someone elses idea on being able to buy your way out of a execution. Maby persuasion could be taken into consideration as well. He could demand a certain price based on your position in a kingdom.

off topic Do different lords have different types of traits? In warband lords seemed to be copy/paste for all in a faction except maby a king. I would also enjoy them adding a list of accomplishments for each lord. seeing which cities they captured or lords they executed. Maby a quick stat line could make it more simple. Could give more incentive to bring stronger lords to your side or to execute them instead.

I can imagine myself rounding up as many lords as I can, and executing every single one because I was bored and had nothing else to do
What might be an interesting feature is if you execute a certain amount of lords on a single day, that day becomes “remembered”, so when that day happens a year from then, your troops get a notable boost to morale, as they are celebrating a great victory, this could also work with battles.

AI lords will have Personally and Reputation variables, and the game also tracks major events, and these all affect their decision making. Not sure if they play into the execution decisions, but they certainly do for the "Persuasion" system, which is used for negotiations.
