"This means that players that perhaps aren’t the best with the combat system in the game can still be highly effective in Captain Mode, purely through using superior strategy and tactics"
Good, I'm going to be unbeatable/-defeatable (is that a word?  )

"and by effectively communicating with their teammates of course!" Nevermind...

As to the comments about 'no new info/releasedate/screenshots/videos/whatever comes up'
What did you expect, the game isn't finished, it's a so called WIP, there is only so much that can be shared with us because there is only so much that is ready and won't change anymore. Also, I'm glad they keep stuff from us, that makes discovering the game(world) more interesting. Don't expect these blogs to become some kind of wikipedia about the game while it's release isn't even announced yet, it simply is not possible to tell/show us everything from the game. I would like to read/see as much about the game as everyone here, but until TW shows us or I can buy the game, I won't be able to. Info will get there when the stuff it's about is ready.

Another ******* multiplayer blog. This game sounds like it focusing more and more on becoming the new overwatch, and there is a declining number of singleplayer blogs. Have you already exausted all the features you can write for the singleplayer that you resort to multiplayer? Or focusing on multiplayer more to change your brand to multiplayer battles? Or both?

You do realize 90%+ of the blogs are single player focused right?

Try and name out of the 111 blogs 10 of them that focus on multi-player. How dare them gear up for beta and explain the mode more in-depth. Big surprise a new account crawls out of the woodwork with his 2 cents.

Man this game prly has to calculate how your enemy ai will take a dump of its winter and you have a 20% bigger army while that plague ass tale has to make you go from point a to point B, imagine they needed 300 ass npc thinking which way will attack with no plans while the other game is 80% scripted, yeah suck a big ****

That was just an example because it was released recently (you need to read better). If you want to count how many games have been released in 8 years lets start (including lot of games that makes much more IA calculations and world calculation). No excuses. Obviously you are not a programmer, smart neither.

This in addition to the blogs. 30 seconds of you guys editing and using the software, and 5 seconds of the good stuff (BL gameplay) would probably suffice much of the criticism.
I know that you know it's not true. People were saying the same thing in the old Bannerlord thread, 'come on, guys, give us anything, single screenshot weekly would be enough'.

I do understand them, you don't want to put too much effort into regular devblogs that have no end date, you just set the bar pretty low. Hopefully they'll pick up the pace after the beta starts and, I assume, release date will be set soon after. Unless they will shift focus on the beta players totally and devblogs will become neglected orphans.

I have a question for Ömer; is the game nice ? As we couldn' play yet, I would like hear the opinion of guys who plays this game for years.

That's exactly what will happen.
How do you know the MP beta has started? **** blogs about MP and reins, one after another.
They need a backup blogger able to give his full attention to informing and entertaining the public.
I'd like to nominate NPC99 who even without inside info is able to present informative and factual summaries of various areas of the game. He can even interview fans. "How disappointed are you right now Terco, from 1 to madridista?"

This is why we can't have nice interviews... Is the game nice? Do you like your mother? Are you a real developer?

Can you tell me which games they are? I would play them.

I feel like when the game finally comes out, my life will feel empty without the weekly devblogs  :???: (or moreso the comments in the forum lol)

Questions for next week's blog:

What kind of machine learning algorithms are used to train the AI agents in Bannerlord (e.g. Q-learning)?

3 levels of AI were mentioned in previous blogs; which level of AI was the most difficult to train/model?

I've been following the development of Bannerlord since 2013. From 2013 to 2016 i was super excited about the content they share. I admired to the Gamescom 2015 videos. Rushed to find a wifi to watch 40 min gameplays of weekender. They said "it will be on players' hands in a form this year" in 2016. In 2017 i was disappointed, lost my hype a little but still every blog and gameplay video made me excited. In 2018, i stoppped caring news but i was ready to instantly buy the game the moment it is released. At start of 2019, i was thinking that the game should be released this year. After i learned that they are going to do a multiplayer beta, i lost all my hope and hype. Recently, sometimes i totally forget blogs. I dont know if i am going to buy the game when it come out. When it was announced i was a kid. Looks like i will have a job and i wont even have time to play when it is released

You have no right to insult a large portion of the fan base like that. Sure we're frustrated with a game that we love. How does that make us man children? Get <snippadeeday> off your high horse. We fans and the community helped build TW into the institution that it is. We all love this game deeply. That's why we are the best avenue for TW to see how their initatives are received. If we all pretended to be okay with how things are going do you think it would help the dev team?

<my o my, what a snippady day>

I'll take my punishment now.

Yup. --Orion

+1
People think we are going to buy the game anyway although we whine.
Thing is, that would be true in the case they don't manage to screw the damn thing up, considering the development hell and reworks it went through.
People like "Resonant" kept saying the same thing left and right about "muh whiney people gon buy the game anyway although you get mad lololol"

I got Mordhau, I have what to play anyway, and we will receive modding tools at a later date anyway. Unless Bannerlord holds up to it's name (not like I have extreme expectations, i want a good game, not a perfect one), I won't get any more bit of "hype" until I see the "release date announcement" published on their website.

You are very late to the party Taleworlds, other studios are getting ahead of you. Their products might differ, but their passion and polish for their games rival yours. I don't know what you guys have up your sleeve, but if you won't give us a release at the next Gamescom either, people will have even higher expectations considering how long it sits in the oven.

Well, the time had come.

I've played Warband for over 10k hours of my precious / sad/ miserable life, SP MP native, CRPG, and all kinds of other mods. I've been leading international big clans in CRPG and I can clearly say that M&B is the greatest piece of gaming industry art i've ever encountered. Yet i have never written on a official Taleworlds forum untill now.  I've waited since 2012 to play Bannerlord and this blog pushed me to write.

People of Calradia are still full of hype but dev blogs such as this are not the best idea as they aggravate your loyal patient fans. Lack of actual content could be fixed by adding more screenshots / new short footage of the mode ingame. I know that development takes time (im working as a scrum master in IT company and i know how long do projects take to be finalised) and that it might have been too early to announce it in 2012 when nothing was really done. But after 7 years people expect more content to be shown. It doesnt have to be revolutionary, im watching footages and screenshots for 10 times over and over again just to imagine what the game is like. Anything will be better than nothing. If open beta is a no go and closed beta is limited so that not everybody will get hands on it at least release some longer gameplay in slightly more advanced game stage (not necessarily endgame) just so that there is anything to keep us calm and give you more time to polish the gem you are working on.

Im slightly disapointed but allways wish you the best!
Keep up the good work and let us peek on it a little bit

Can't wait for next week's blog in which we will take a look at a feature highly requested by the fanbase: scabbards!*

*Looks to lackey PR number two: "Didn't we talk about this in an earlier blog?"
Lackey PR number two: "I'm not even paid, dude, whatever"

The"funny" thing is that they are doing the same error for Beta test annoucement as for the game. They announce it too soon and just tease on it, they speak of it to fill blogs and it will be in three month or maybe more (after Gamescom probably) ??? It has been already announced two or three months ago ? Why not just announce the Beta THE DAY its the beta. I could bet they have speak of it two month ago to announce it officially at gamescom and just tease us during 6 months.

This. So much this. Can't wait for them to say that it's still not clear when will the beta start after like 2 years

Lmao, this is hilariously awful. The pain is comical at this point. What an absolutely pathetic blog. Who is the dunce who comes up with what goes into these blogs? By far the worst one yet. Some may be bland, some may be obvious, but never has one so blatantly regurgitated old information. Some they could get away with by saying its for new comers and not veteran players. But isn't that what gamescon was supposed to do? Expose the game to new demographics? What a bull**** blog
