You need to go faster… but have no worry, dear reader, for this week’s blog is about party speed. It may look like a small deal but every blog has to be made precisely so that it does not spoil much of the game while also giving some satisfying info.

I'll never understand how one can spoil basic game mechanics. It's a sandbox, not a story driven RPG. I want to know everything I can do, how it works, and what I can't do.

Sadly, that's also the official answer for whys and wherefores of skin-deep blogs. Fans ask for the framework of the game, to know better the domain of their future adventures. Their story can not be spoiled as it will be formed by their own decisions. So, it's a bad excuse. I understand that it would be painful to admit that the base of the game is still fragile.

Although I am all for freedom of speech and liberty in the forums I also believe the place to cry because of the slowness of developement process isnt the forums but some less official places like steam forums. We also point this out and complain when some news related to this come out but considering the fact that developers read this forum regularly in order to receive some useful feedback so that they can deliver us the game in best shape, I think we should avoid polluting the forums with useless spams and complaints like release date, slow developement process since I am sure devs are more than aware of these already.

Interesting message from someone who has been banned for a long time

Back on topic, I agree with Terco, the visual downgrade has nothing to do with performance, no way the game needs to look that flat and washed out to be playable at 60 fps.

The added drama of NicCage is totally worth the post. You, sir, made my day with this one. Thanks for that. However, I stand behind KhergitLancer99: we used to have a random blog after zeus knows how many months, completely out of the blue. Weekly things may show "pointless" stuff, but it is stuff, details. Every little detail they've been posting since 2016 has made me smile with a neat "yeah, I like that.", some did add the "yeah boi, i liek that very muchs my head is twirling" to that, but they did not disappoint on that agreement of a weekly blog.

Gotta say, it was nice knowing we will have a detailed account of speed modifiers, and the added bonus of knowing too many horses is not the solution. That added the extra "noyce" layer to the blog's info.

I could have written this sentence easily if I really knew how to write in English. I can't add a comma...100% agree.
In this I do not share your vision KhergitLancer99...

@monoolho, There should never be a lack of humour in life

Ouch, what a generalization! Not very polite thing to say bru.

The truth can be harsh

Is the number of pack animals you can bring proportionate to the size of your party and their skill with animals? It would be weird if three footsoldiers, who could probably manage around ten total, could bring just as many horses as a 300 man strong Khuzait hoard, who could reasonably bring over half a dozen mares each.

Just to bring this topic up again:
I noticed, after a test, that wounded soldiers do not affect the party speed in Warband and since nothing in this blog mentions it I fear it might me overseen "again".
Please let wounded troops, without a mount, walk slower.
