INTRODUCTION



Warband Winter Cup was created to stimulate the entire Mount & Blade: Warband community and to prevent players from falling into their winter sleep. We want to warm up the atmosphere so much that we have prepared prizes for best of the best. I would like to invite everyone to take part in the tournament. It's another step for us all to create a common place and friendly environment to play one of our favorite titles. If you are reading this, do not wait, collect your team and sign up!



RULES




1. General information

  • Tournament name: Warband Winter Cup, abbreviation - WWC18,
  • Team registartion starts on 23.12.2018r - 8:30PM CET,
  • Maximum number of teams: 32,
  • Mode: 6v6,
  • CFA agency is the organizer of the tournament,
  • Communication with the administration of the tournament takes place through topics in the relevant sections of the TaleWorlds Forum and Discord, join HERE
  • The sponsors of the awards are: TaleWorlds and ...

2. Tournament

  • Start date: XX.XX.XXXX, XX:XX / Planned end date: XX.XX.XXXX,
  • Participation is determined by the order of applications accepted by the Tournament Administration,
  • Anyone who has an original copy of Mount & Blade: Warband can participate in the Tournament,
  • The Tournament participant may represent only one team in the Tournament,
  • Participation in the Tournament is voluntary and free,
  • Teams from any country can take part in the Tournament,
  • Names of players and teams can not contain:
    • - vulgar content, phrases inciting hatred based on racial, national, ethnic or religious differences, and content commonly considered offensive
    • - domain extensions (e.g., .com, .pl etc.),
  • All attempts of breaking the rules must be reported before the start of the match (or in an extraordinary case in the course of one), the Tournament Administrator determines whether a report will affect the game,
  • The right to participate in the higher phases of the tournament is acquired as a result of the team's victories, can not be sold in any way and can not be transferred to another team,
  • The entries will be accepted until all slots are occupied or until groups will be drawn,
  • Tournament administration reserves the right to decide on matters not specified by these rules.

3. The course of the Tournament

  • The Tournament consists of two stages, i.e. group stage and the knockout stage,
  • 32 teams are divided into 8 groups, 2 teams from each group proceed to the next stage,
  • Each team consists of 6 players + 4 substitutes,

  • Server configuration:
    • Mode: Battle
    • Map time: 30 mins
    • Round time: 150 seconds
    • Flags extortion: 1.50 mins before the round ends
    • Friendly damage: 100%
    • Game speed: Normal
    • Damage: 100%
    • Bonus gold per round: 75%
    • Bonus gold per frag: 75%

4. Matches

  • Every match has to be played on Tournament servers, the list can be found HERE,
  • During each match of the final phase one of the administrators must be present in the game,
  • The exact date and time of the match should be announced minimum 48 hours before it,
  • After matches in the group stage, a screenshot with a result of every stage of the match should be made,
  • Group stage rules:
    • System: BO3
    • Round quantity: 5 for every spawn,
    • Two or three maps are played,
    • In the event of a stalemate, an overtime is played (3 rounds per spawn),
    • The first team that first gets 6 rounds of advantage wins the entire map and the game proceeds to the next map,
    • An overtime is played immediately on the map where the 5-5 result occurred. The most important thing is the victory on said map - it is the thing that counts towards the final result,
    • The team receives 3 points for winning and 0 points for the defeat.
  • Knockout stage rules:
    • System: BO3
    • Round quantity: 5 for every spawn,
    • Two or three maps are played,
    • In the event of a stalemate, an overtime is played (3 rounds per spawn),
    • The first team that first gets 6 rounds of advantage wins the entire map and the game proceeds to the next map,
    • An overtime is played immediately on the map where the 5-5 result occurred. The most important thing is the victory on said map - it is the thing that counts towards the final result,
    • Victory in the BO3 system guarantees passing to the next stage of the competition.
  • Players must make every effort to play matches according to the schedule,
  • Team can not be late by more than 15 minutes, exceeding this time causes the walkover in favor of the opponent or may result in the exclusion of the team from the competition,
  • Any attempt to cheat, usage of illicit game programs or Bug-using will result in disqualification from the entire tournament and all future events organized by CFA or its members,
  • Situations which are not possible to settle on the basis of the regulations are going to be reviewed by the Administration. Its decision is final.

6. Prizes

  • The organizer provides prizes in the form of electronic equipment and gifts in electronic form for the finalists,
  • Awards distribution:
    • 1st Place: 10 M&B: Bannerlord keys;
    • 2nd Place: XXX
    • 3rd Place: XXX
  • Rewards for the whole team will be sent to the address indicated by the Captain (only in the European Union and Turkey) within 45 days after the end of the tournament,
  • Mount & Blade: Bannerlord game keys are going to be sent to the winning team after the game's release,
  • In order to transfer the prize, the team captain is obliged to provide the Administration with the necessary data, i.e. the exact shipping address and telephone number. If they fail to provide complete information, we won't be able to send the rewards,
  • If incorrect data is given by the Captain or the prize is not collected in time, it will be transferred back to the Organizer's account,
  • The organizer reserves the right to issue some part of the material prizes in the number of 6 pieces.
