hi, i play sandbox campaign. but problem here. maybe this is a bug.(i using google translator, sorry!)
on the world map, bandit(viking, thieves etc...) party size is not proportional to player's troop. i lead a 200 over party, but their party very very few members.(2~3people) and bandit is no longer spawned. now, i can not buy supplies...
[deleted all game file → deleted all save data → install again → new game start] I cycled many times and install different location, but this issue has not been resolved yet.
I had installed balance mod 9.0, dark age submod and compatibility mod a few days ago, but after a few hours I deleted all game files and deleted save data.
difficulty type is 'impossible", mount and blade warband's version is 1.174, viking conquest's version is 2.044, download at the gog.com.

If you play with Balance Mod, bandit party spawns are random in size, not tied to player army size. That is an intended change.

But are you saying you reverted to vanilla VC? If the world has already filled up with small bandit parties, then even when playing Vanilla VC with scaled spawns, it can take a long time for the world to adjust to your new greater size. This is because when VC spawns bandit parties, it makes fewer spawns as the target size gets larger, and each spawn point has a limit of number of parties. So when the player army is small, it might spawn a lot of parties, and those parties survive pretty well because they are fast, and a great many of those parties would have to die before one of the large spawns could occur. It can be a sticky situation especially if you occasionally drop some troops off in a camp or garrison and go small party for a bit, that can create a situation where the small parties keep respawning, and then you will probably have to kill off a lot of the smaller parties to get the spawn down below the cap to start spawning new large parties for you.

You will probably have to kill off a lot of the smaller parties to get the spawn down below the cap to start spawning new large parties for you.

thank you mate. but, but... on such a large world, kill many bandit? they even advance into the sea...
i just installed balance mode a few days ago. i already deleted all game file and save data.  new start... no other way?
 
Just to be clear, everything we are discussing is about the Vanilla VC scaled spawn system, as my understanding of your post is you have reverted to playing vanilla. If I am wrong and you are still playing a modded version, things would be totally different than what is discussed below, and you can post in the mod thread for support instead.

Ok, so the small bandit parties will die off on their own slowly, as they get into combat, so eventually the world will adjust. But that requires that you not drop off your troops in camp/garrison, because if you do even for a few days, that will create a chance for a bunch of small parties to spawn, filling up the spawn limit again. Vanilla VC’s scaled spawns work well when the player army stays a consistent size for a sustained period of time.

In the meantime, you might actually have better luck dropping down a bit, and taking 55 men on a skeid for some sea hunting. This is for 2 reasons: 1) one of the reasons you aren’t seeing any decent spawns is because player army of 200 creates very large bandit parties, and very large bandit parties only spawn when there are almost no other bandit parties. If you switch to 55 men, that targets more reasonably sized bandit parties that are much less limitied, so you might see a couple of moderate bandit parties spawn; 2) sea bandits have a higher lower limit on their party size than land bandits, so even when small they have a dozen or so men, and more importantly they tend to have decently fast turnover in getting themselves killed and replaced, so you will probably find some ok targets at sea.
