Truth to be told I've been punished accordingly every time I've lost temper and acted impulsively, but I do find that sometimes I can be bitter and somewhat unpleasant towards some people and even so the moderation here is quite understandable of how heated reactions can manifest when someone pushes another. What I'm trying to say is that as an "outlaw" user, I do find TW's forums to be quite light regarding moderation, which's a good thing. Here freedom of speech prevails, except when someone pushes way too far... I fail to understand how someone can say that you are oppressors in all honesty...Orion said:Do they? If something does bother you, please use the report button in the bottom-right corner of the post. The moderators are not omnipresent, but if you bring something to our attention then we will investigate. We also don't want to police every little thing that gets posted, so a couple of members getting a little heated from time to time isn't a big deal, but if they get too carried away then we'll rein them in.
well, I guess I stand corrected... I would argue the mods are quite fast to hammer down on things instead of waiting for things to naturally die down but I can understand where thy are coming from. I don't really have an issue with the moderation though. It might just be that I'm used to smaller fora which are generally a bit looser.

of course. but it could also frustrate people and escalate tensions which would've calmed down themselves. Nail perception syndrome is a thing. Then again, it's always a tricky balance between allowing people to vent and keeping the forums safe...
I don't speak for the rest of the moderators, but in my little corner of the forum (which I share with Erminas, a man of few words), I always prefer to post first in an attempt to simmer things down. I suppose I'm not jaded enough to just come in swinging.
that is something which I appreciate about you. If you had banned 3 users and then posted a comment like "That will teach them, stay down and shut up". I would feel much less welcome.Orion said:
