In this week’s blog, we thought it would be nice to put a face to a name, so to speak, by sharing each of the factions’ banners with you. After all, this is Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord…

[/parsehtml]Read more at: http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/58

Seems like the blogs are getting released later each Thursday. Make me think that they don't want to give us proper information so every Thursday morning they come up with something small like faction colors or weapons.
I have noticed that too. Perhaps they are so focused on the game that they have to post the blog a little later than before and maybe they are running out of things to say. But Idk that is just what I think.

Or running out of things they *want* to say

This. I still feel that TW and Callum are holding back on a few big reveals (besides the obvious one), which we will probably see at Gamescom or closer to the ethereal release date (which hopefully will coincide, or at least won't be too far apart). Perhaps even some of the things touched on in the devblogs will have more depth than was shown, which will definitely make me happy. While I wouldn't have minded a little more intro to WB the first time I booted it up, once I figured out the main mechanics and what I should be doing, discovering new things I could do and interact with the world was fun. I hope BL doesn't do away with playing to discover different mechanics, abilities, etc.

But the Vlandians as a whole are the knockoff normans...

So like, subfaction wise you're likely doing more-viking and more-french and then maybe some more-british.

...And maybe something more Rhodok (swis-talian) or german. Bit spanish at the Aserai border.

All is well. It would be nice if instead of the sign of the city of Tual there was not an Anglo-Saxon helmet with swords, but, for example, the helmet of a warrior from Kievan Rus. Well, or some Slavic.

Been watching gameplay footage from Gamescon 2019 and it looks like the colors for the Western Empire changed to a different shade of purple, is the Orange still planned or are all the Empire factions going to be represented by different shades of purple?
