Traits  - a deep topic with strategy

Dungeon master - lock up in dungeon 7 and more lords at the same time. It decreases chance for lord to escape after battle for 7.

Wine Connoisseur - stockpile 25 barrels of wine at your household possession. You can treat a lord with wine if you have it in inventory once for 1-3 relation. Also it affects the decisions lord made +3 to your favor. (take oath, allow to marry)

Skirt Chaser - you have 5 lovers at one time. Doesn't work in latest patches. They have deleted cheat with wives.

Hints
Shield bash have a cooldown:
Miss - 4 sec
Hit - 30 sec

Ambushed troops inflict 80% damage reduced.

In sieges with ladders defenders have 300% accuracy, attackers 50%.

If you captured a bandit leader and have 50 captivities, you can send him to plunder enemy village.

Kingdom Culture of a player depends on his culture.

Bonus_sea_speed =  Bonus_of_sailors + Bonus_of_vikings, but no more then 40%.
Bonus_of_sailors = Number_of_sailors/Party_size * 80
Bonus_of_vikings = Number_of_vikings/Party_size * 40
Vikings are all pirate-vikings and Norse troops with 24 level min.

The max bonus speed is with sailors  - 50% of the party or 100% vikings.

Base NPC speed on the sea:
hero_party (lords) - 12
caravan - 7
outlaws - 13
vikings - 14
others - 8

Companions leave party if their moral less then 30. In companion menu (where you see portraits) if you click on face you can see where he is. (Useful at the beginning to gather companions)

Any idea what the banners/horns do, if anything?

The answer I got from the Quick Questions/ Quick Answers thread was that horns and banners improve in combat morale, reducing the likelihood of troop morale breaking and fleeing the battle.

Most usefull post I've found about VC ! :smile:

Do all type of woman applies ? (in the woman troop tree) , from farmer to camp defender ?

Thanks,

Pictish Hood (picts)
Power_Strike +2, Power_Throw +2, Power_Draw +2, Athletics +2

Also , are you sure about that ?
Because it looks like a malus removed from desequipping a heavy armor and puting on a light armor (if "gear affect skills" option is selected)

The pictish clothing types that are largely naked/tattooed do give those bonuses. If you were also replacing heavy armor at the same time, the net bonus would be even greater. Those pictish clothing types are bad as armor though, so giving up mail body armor to gain the bonuses is a heavy price to pay.
