[anchor=tag1]§ 1 Rule of Behaviour[/anchor]

Behave like the decent human being you already are and respect the tournament and other players.


[anchor=tagTournament]TOURNAMENT  RULES[/anchor]

[anchor=tag2]§ 2 Tournament Format[/anchor]

(1) The opening stage of tournament will see the teams divided into two groups. Each group will have the teams play against each other in a round robin style format. Teams will be rewarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 for a loss.
(2) The groups will be sorted by Points, Head-to-Head, and lastly Round Difference.
(3) At the end of this stage, the three teams at the top of each group will enter a knockout bracket.
(4) The first from each group will qualify straight to semifinals. 2nd and 3rd from each group will advance to Quarter-finals.
(5) The Knockout stage will be a single elimination bracket and the winner will be named NFL Champion.

[anchor=tag3]§ 3 Scheduling[/anchor]

(1) Team captains should post in the thread for each week by Friday, 19:00 GMT, either the agreed time and date of that week's match or the days and times they are available to play if they have been unable to agree or to contact their opponent.
(2) Should the opponent not respond or not post compatible times the admins reserve the right to schedule the match.
(3) Teams are not allowed to agree on a date that falls after the deadline for their official match unless allowed by the tournament administration.

[anchor=tag4]§ 4 Maps & Factions[/anchor]

(1) Maps and factions will be selected by the administration using a random number generator throughout the tournament.
(2) The list of the maps and factions used can be found here.


[anchor=tagRoster]ROSTER  RULES[/anchor]

[anchor=tag5]§ 5 Captaincy[/anchor]

(1) The tournament administration will pick the team captains from the pool have players that have expressed their wish to lead a team after sign ups have closed.
(2) Captains are responsible for picking and organising their teams, arranging matches and handling disputes concerning their team. We demand from captains full responsability on their members. 1-2 Scrims a week is a minimum while the tournament is being hosted. All members need to be aware of these scrims and official match. If a captain fails to manage properly his/her team, this will result in a penalty that the admins will decide.

[anchor=tag6]§ 6 Team Regulations[/anchor]

(1) Captains will be given a total amount of €32,500,000 to spend on players during the draft.
(2) Tier 1 players will be banned for 2 rounds of picking. Then they'll be unlocked for captains to freely bid on them.
(3) During the 2 first rounds of picking, captains will be limited to a max of 2 players per team.
(4) A player will be added to the roster of the captain who placed the highest bid on him or her.
(5) Bidding will take place during a special draft night held on Friday, 16.02.18 by 18.00 GMT.

[anchor=tag7]§ 7 Trades[/anchor]

(1) Trades are allowed throught the tournament.
(2) Team may only trade three players during the tournament.
(3) Players from teams that are eliminated from the tournament are not eligable for trading.
(4) If a player has valid reasons in eyes of the admins to demand a trade from his team, the admins will judge the situation and try to ensure his entry on another team counting on a bonus trade if it happens.

[anchor=tag8]§ 8 Player Names and ID's[/anchor]

(1) Each team member may be listed by one name only in the team roster.
(2) Players should play with the name they are signed up under for the tournament.
(3) Players should wear the team tag during official matches.
(4) Any game ID listed to a player in a team roster must be unique to that player. Players using a game ID that has been used by any other player at any point are not eligible to play.

[anchor=tag9]§ 9 Multiteaming[/anchor]

(1) It is strictly prohibited for a player to play for more than one team at the same time. If a player is found to have played for more than one team at any point he or she will be banned for the rest of the tournament.
(2) The second team to field the player will forfeit all the points won in matches where that player took part (ladder stage) and disqualified during (knockout stage).


[anchor=tagMatch]MATCH  RULES[/anchor]

[anchor=tag10]§ 10 Match Server[/anchor]

(1) Both teams have to agree to play on a particular server. If the teams cannot agree on a particular server, they have to ask a referee or tournament administrator for a decision.
(2) The following server settings have to be used during official matches: Combat Speed: Medium, Friendly Fire: %100, Round Time: 180 seconds, Game Type: Battle, Respawn time: 8 seconds, Gold: All set to %100, Camera: team member’s view, forced MoF spawn at 2 minutes.

[anchor=tag11]§ 11 Spectators[/anchor]

(1) Spectators from both teams are allowed by default. However, if one team requests to have no spectators their request must be granted and all spectators have to leave the server.
(2) External spectators, so players that do not belong to either team, have to ask for permission from both captains to spectate the match.
(3) Spectating the match by joining a team after the spawn period is not allowed at any given point.
(4) Tournament administrators do not need to get permission to spectate a game.
(5) Streamers do not need to get permission to spectate a game, but they have to notify the relevant teams before joining.

[anchor=tag12]§ 12 Gathering Players[/anchor]

(1) Both teams have 15 minutes to gather their players on the agreed server. If a team fails to turn up with at least five players 15 minutes after the agreed match start, the other team has to contact an admin immediately and will be awarded a default win.
(2) Teams are not obligated to wait more than 5 minutes between maps and sets. Teams are allowed to enforce a restart after these periods of waiting.

[anchor=tag13]§ 13 Match Format[/anchor]

(1) The team shown on the left side of the fixture is Team A, the map shown on the left side of the fixture is Map A and the faction shown on the left side of the fixture is Faction A.
(2) Each match consists of 2 sets played on each of 2 maps, thus 4 sets in total. After the first set on each map the teams will swap spawns and factions. Each set will be won by the team that is the first to win 3 rounds. Each match will be won by the team with the most number of rounds at the end of 4 sets.
(3) The team shown on the left side of the fixtures starts on the first spawn on the first map, and on the second spawn on the second map.
(4) Each team may field up to 8 players. Teams with less than 8 players may play on or forfeit the match. The other team is under no obligation to match the other team's numbers. A team is not allowed to go under 5 players at any given point. If a team goes under 5 players they have to forfeit the match, and the remaining rounds will be added in favour of their opponent to the final score.
(5) In the case of a default, rounds played are recorded as played, unplayed rounds are recorded as the defaulter losing all remaining rounds.
(6) Team captains have to ensure every player of their team who attended at least one training session and turns up before the first set started gets to play at least three rounds in a match.
(7) Each team captain is responsible for ensuring that a screenshot is made of each set result. Captains must be able to produce such screenshots should they be requested to do so by a tournament admin. In the case of a dispute the team that cannot produce a screenshot, the admins will decide on a punish for the team according to the situation, specially if they can't prove by any way the result of the disputed rounds.

[anchor=tag14]§ 14 Substitutions[/anchor]

(1) 1) Every team is allowed to make one substitution during a set for the entire match. Once they substituted a player during a set, they are not allowed to substitute any more players. A player can only be substituted because of a crash reason.
(1.5)The player coming in needs to join in the same class as the player who crashed during the previous round being substituted.
(2) Substitutions between sets are allowed without restrictions.

[anchor=tag15]§ 15 Tie Breaker[/anchor]

(1) Due to the nature of the tournament, every match after the ladder phase may not end in a draw. Should a knockout match end in a tie after regular time, the teams must play a tie breaker.
(2) The tiebreaker is a first to three, meaning the first team that wins three rounds wins the tiebreaker and thus the match.
(3) The tiebreaker has to be played on Winterburg. Each team will choose their faction from the factions listed in Appendix B.
(4) The standard match size for tiebreakers is 8v8 unless both teams agree to play with more or less players.
