Cuman/Kypchak/Pecheneg Influence In Khuzait Faction

While watching the captain mode  videos I realised that some of the Khuzait troops(lancer class of the cavalry branch to be exact) wear Cuman armors.
WHO were the Cumans ?

Edit: I think I should have wrote helmet instead of armor.

so this explains the why we do not have release date and also shows how deep they worked for each faction and their originated history in real life with their limited manpower. thanks for the detailed post dude.

Yes, they really go deep on every culture for Battanians they look for ancient Celtic units like Fian archers,Ulfhednar or Falxman(names sounded right to me I may be mega wrong).
