In this week’s blog we would like to talk about an aspect of the game which many of you have requested we talk about for quite some time now: singleplayer. We decided that the most interesting way to do this would be to discuss different features and mechanics from the campaign in their own dedicated blogs. We hope that, over time, we can touch on many of the key aspects of the sandbox and give you all a better understanding of what to expect in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.

Great Blog Callum,

Sounds very interesting.

Question:
Can you spend influence on foreign Lords?

The Distance from home was very interesting, will it also influence how the AI takes cities/Towns/Villages? We have seen examples from Warband where a kingdom takes a castle very far from their homelands, im thinking the Distance from home could influence this in a possitive manor, so kingdoms try to take the towns closest to their borders and not marching to the far end of the map for a conquest.

Oh, finally ! Some single-player stuff. And good one, on top of that !

Thank you for this weekly blog. Very interesting feature(s).

I just hope this "influence" stuff won't feel too "dumb farming quests" after time.

Well first of all, great blog, although most of it I already knew or could guess on.
Secondly a question for this blog;
Do you have to be joined in the faction to use these feutures or not?

For next weeks Q&A
1: How big of a difference will there be between lowest & highest graphics? Will it be almost like in Warband or different?

2: (sorry im not really into modding), but how many textures will one item be able to use? Unlimited? or limited?

Edith: Good blog, this. I wonder whether prestige ties into the system as well (if prestige is still a thing) and whether players face a penalty if they do not heed the call of an ally.

Interesting blog, I suppose it will somewhat feed the singleplayer hunger some people got here.

Also, I can't be the only one to appreciate the artwork near the title of every blog. ^^

Do different types of troops consume different amounts of food? and do the horses need food to?

Well, this is not that different from Warband, and it all depends on how you balance it and how the AI uses the campaign army - we'll only see by playtesting. A new army UI is a nice touch.
Also, influence was possibly lifted from TLD.  :party:

The diamonds could represent the influence costs / time.
They could also mean army speed.
Left to right (speculation): food (or days worth of food), influence need/spent, siege strength, number of parties, speed
