How moddable is B&G (also LF modding guide)
« on: September 19, 2017, 12:39:24 PM »
Hello,

I was thinking of doing a mod for Warband, but B&G already has guns and naval combat so I wouldn't have to add them. Is this game as moddable as warband, or are there more limits to what I can do?

Also, there is supposed to be a modding guide somewhere, is there a way to get it without buying the game? I want to check a few things before I buy it.

Thanks!
Matt

similar to Warband (as it uses the same base engine), however they changed the format of MBScript so you will need to invest some time learning their scripting way.

the modsys and manual are located on the game folder. I have it on Steam, so it gets downloaded with the game. You can check their website/their forum for more info.

keep in mind you can't use this game assets to create a Warband mod, so you would be limited to create a mod for owners of Caribbean!

Thanks! I will think about it, it might be better to just use WB and some OSP stuff.

Hey that would be great! Can you change the land battles back to the traditional Warband layout, I was trying to find a mod about this game since the time they made the change.
