Could this be the year?
After securing a very one-sided match against Germany finishing with a 10-4 and ending up as group leaders, BeNe does look like this could be their year if they are able to perform as good as they have been doing for the past weeks.
Whilst BeNe is indeed looking good let’s not forget that this week’s opponent is UK, a nation that has a very stacked roster with high-synergy players.
But, do they stand a chance? Absolutely. BeNe seem to adapt really well to uncomfortable situations where they don’t have a clear advantage, infantry detriments, or simply unexpected crashes/split pushes. Their reactions and teamwork really pay off when you add to the mix their coordination while executing their moves, and even though they don’t use very advanced or complex tactics they are very efficient to whatever playstyle they commit to. And as it’s not big surprise one of the key elements for BeNe in this match will be archers, again, Leroux, Attila, and Kane have shown how vital they are for this team, and they will have to keep on doing this good especially considering that both maps picked by the nations rely heavily on archers and crossfires. And although BeNe's infantry block is pretty good and solid they are still weaker when compared to UK's, nonetheless, they'll be supported by the deadly cav duo of Ciiges and Watly, accompanied by Surkan and Ceasar and that surely helps. Doesn't matter how you see it - BeNe’s team has a very good all-round roster that has nothing to fear from the UK.
We will have to wait see if the Dutch & Belgium team is capable of maintaining the level of coordination and teamplay across all three classes if they really want to win this match, but that hasn’t been a problem so far.

A confidence to regain.
Coming from a very hard loss against Poland during the last week that resulted in a 10-3 in Poland’s favor, UK has been matched against a team with a very similar playstyle for this knockout stage, meaning they could either get to see what their mistakes were and fix them for this match, or still fall for the same errors. With that being said, UK still has one of the strongest looking rosters nonetheless, guided by experienced leaders. If they’re able to play confidently and as they intend with their tactics BeNe could have a really, really bad time, especially against UK’s infantries.
Speaking of which this is the department where UK has the edge, if just dealing with Anchor and Gibby on the open map it’s problematic, when we get to the closed map you have to add Deacon, Puff and Slade to the already deadly composition. Playing around the infantries could not only be the key for the Brits in this match but could potentially be the decisive factor. To support this really strong infantry stack we have OGL, Pepper, Matt and JarvisAndPi as archers, and though they are somewhat weaker when compared to the Dutch & Belgian ones, as long as they are capable of supporting their infantries while staying alive, their work is pretty much done, and they are more than capable to do so. And finally, for the cavalry side Azan, Mitchell and HolyWarrior along with Slade on open maps is a very decent department that could hold off the BeNe cavalries long enough while supporting the melee.
All in all, the Brits have a very solid roster, mainly focused around infantry, that if they play as intended and don’t run into unexpected troubles should offer us a very good match!
