4.Team and Roster Rules
5.Match Rules
6.Tie-Breaker

1 League Format

1.1 The tournament consists of a group stage followed by a single elimination bracket. The winner of the final will be titled "Master of 5aSide".

1.2 The teams will be put into 4 groups of equal size. The selection will be done using a random number generator.

1.3 Factions and maps will be determined using a random number generator and they will all be selected in advance. Each of the fixtures will contain one open map and one closed map from the map pool shown below.

1.4 The group phase will consist of a round robin in which each Team shall play each other Team within the group once.

1.5 The following number of Match points will be awarded for each group phase Match:
Win3 points
Draw1 point
Loss0 points
No Match points will be awarded to a Team which has been expelled from the Tournament, refuses to play a Match or abandons a Match in progress, without direction from referee or the tournament Admin, subject always to the provisions of the Rules. Should this occur, the opponent in that Match shall be awarded a win and, therefore, three Match points and 16 rounds.
Where a Team is expelled from the Tournament, it shall forfeit all Match points previously awarded and its opponents in each Match previously played shall be awarded three Match points (which shall replace any Match points previously awarded from the particular Match) and 16 rounds. All points scored for and against in these Matches shall be discounted in the official group rankings and Team records used for Tournament purposes

1.6 At the completion of the group Stage, the Teams in a group are ranked one through X based on their cumulative Match points, and identified respectively as winner, runner-up, third, fourth, ...
If at the completion of the group stage two or more Teams are level on Match points, then the following criteria shall be used in the following order until one of the Teams can be determined as the higher ranked:
    The winner of the Match in which the two tied Teams have played each other shall be the higher ranked;
    The Team which has the best difference between points scored for and points scored against in all its group Matches shall be the higher ranked;
    The Team which has scored most points in all its pool Matches shall be the higher ranked;
    The Team which has the least rounds scored against it in all its pool Matches shall be the higher ranked;
    Should the tie still be unresolved after these steps the teams must play again to determine the outcome of the group.

1.7 The first two Teams in each pool will progress to the quarter-final round, which will be contested by knock out Matches. The quarter-final Matches will be determined as follows:
      QF 1 - Winner pool A v Winner pool B
      QF 2 - Winner pool C v Winner pool D
      QF 3 - Winner pool E v Winner pool F
      QF 4 - Winner pool G v Winner pool H
Teams winning quarter-final Matches qualify for the semi-finals and Teams losing quarter-final Matches will be eliminated from the Tournament.

1.8 The semi-final Matches will be contested by knock out Matches, as follows:
      SF 1 - Winner QF1 v Winner QF2
      SF 2 - Winner QF3 v Winner QF4
The winners of the semi-final Matches qualify for the Final, and the losers of the semi-final Matches will contest the Bronze Final.

2. Behaviour Rules

2.1 Players should be respectful to one another at all times throughout the tournament. This includes any platform for example: official servers and taleworlds forum. This rule will be especially upheld by the admin team.

2.1.1 If the admin team feels like a player does not respect this rule the punishment will be decided by the whole administration team. Repeated or harder violation may lead to a temporary or even permanent ban!

2.2 Any team that uses, incites or benefits from disruption to the matches, practice sessions or organisation of other teams will face disciplinary action at the admins discretion, up to and including disqualification from the tournament.

2.3 Should admins receive repeated complaints about a team wasting time, the team will be investigated and could face punishment. This includes waiting for lengthy times between sets and map swaps, being extremely difficult to schedule with and other problems.

3. Cheating

3.1 Modifying texture files is strictly prohibited (with the exceptions listed below). Any player or team that is found to have modified textures in order to gain an advantage will immediately face severe punishment, up to and including a ban from the tournament, at the admins' discretion.

3.2 Players that attempt to utilise any kind of autoblock, aimbot or any other game modification that gives them an advantage will be immediately banned from the tournament.

4. Team and Roster Rules

4.1 Every team must have one main Captain.

4.2 Every team needs to contain 5 to 12 players.

4.3 Players that have not played in the tournament can be added to any roster at any time.

4.4 Players who did not play, but were registered on a team, can be transferred.

4.5 If a player has played for a team in an official match he is not allowed to play for another team anymore.

4.6 Players that play in a match and are not on any roster yet will be added to the roster of the team they played for.

4.7 Only Captains and Co-Captains are able to add players to their roster.

4.8 Players that have played for a team can not be removed from a roster anymore. Instead their names will be crossed out if requested.

4.9 The team-captains are responsible for their team and have to check every ID of their team in other rosters by their own. There is no excuse, if one of the rules above gets broken.

4.10 If a Team can't play the match within the deadline they have to ask the tournament administration and their opponent team for permission to play another day.

4.11 If any problems come up, the team-captain is obligated to message to the tournament administrators as soon as possible.

5. Match Rules

5.1 Server settings: Combat Speed: Medium, Friendly Fire: 100%, Round Time: 180 seconds, Game Type: Battle, Re-spawn time: 8 sec, Gold: All set to 100%, Camera: team member’s view, forced MoF spawn on 2:20.

5.2 Matches will be 5-a-side, with no restrictions for classes.

5.3 Each match consists of 2 sets played on each of 2 maps, thus 4 sets in total. After the first set on each map the teams will swap spawns and factions. Each set will be won by the team that is the first to win 3 rounds. Each match will be won by the team with the most number of rounds at the end of 4 sets.

5.4 Teams may agree to play the full match on one server, or they may agree to change servers at any point. If a server cannot be agreed upon, for a match, approach one of the admins. Always decide on servers and test them in advance of the match in order to avoid problems.

5.5 The team shown on the left side of the fixtures starts on the first spawn on the first map, and on the second spawn on the second map.

5.6 Teams are allowed to substitute players at any time. However it is strictly forbidden for a team to spawn more then 5 individual players per round.

5.7 Each team has to field 5 players. Teams with less than 5 players may play on or forfeit the match. The other team is under no obligation to match the other team's numbers.

5.8 Each team captain is responsible for ensuring that a screenshot is made of each set result. Captains must be able to produce such screenshots should they be requested to do so by a tournament admin. In the case of a dispute the team that cannot produce a screenshot will forfeit disputed rounds.

5.9 The winner will be the team with the most rounds won at the end of the matcz.

5.10 All players must use the tag and name which they are signed up with.

6. Tie-Breaker

6.1 In the event of a match draw during the Knockout Stage, the match will go into a tie-breaker. Tie-Breakers will not be used during the group stage.

6.2 The tie-breaker consists of 2 sets played on the map Winterburg. Both teams are allowed to pick the faction they want to play as. The team shown on the left side of the fixtures pick and start on the first spawn.
After the first set the teams will swap spawns and factions. Each set will be won by the team that is the first to win 3 rounds. The match will be won by the team with the most number of rounds at the end.

Thanks to Aerowen for allowing me to use some of the rules she made :smile:
