How to increase combat speed

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was any way to increase combat speed beyond 'fastest', by changing the txt files or something like that. I want the battles to process a little more faster to be honest

I'm not sure about making combat speed faster, but I do know that combat speed doesn't really have an effect on battles as a whole. It just increases the speed at which you can attack and block.
Also, are you asking for the first game, Mount and Blade, or the expansion, Warband?
