Warband Masters Tour Rules
[1.]Format of the Competition

[*]Warband Masters Tour consists of a Regular Season and a Single Elimination bracket.
[*]Regular Season will last 6 weeks and is divided into three stages.
  • First stage is called Closed Maps mastery. It lasts 2 weeks and only Closed category maps will be played during this stage.
  • Second stage is called Mixed Maps mastery. It lasts 2 weeks and only Mixed category maps will be played during this stage.
  • Third stage is called Open Maps mastery. It lasts 2 weeks and only Open category maps will be played during this stage.
[*]During these 3 stages teams will fight for the opportunity to participate in the Single Elimination part of tournament which is called
"The Masters".
[*]The Masters will be Single Elimination bracket for the top 8 teams that collected most points during the Regular Season.

[2.]Points system - Regular Season

[*]During the first three stages of the Regular Season your team will receive:
  • 12 points for victory.
  • 6 points for draw.
  • 0 points for defeat.
[*]In addition to this,teams will receive 1 extra point for every round won during the match.
[*]This means that maximum amount of points one team can receive after single match is 24.
[*]Points are important because they determine which top 8 teams will proceed to the Single Elimination bracket, The Masters.
[*]The position of teams for the order of the quarter finals will be determined by:
(in this order, drop down to the next point only in case of a tie on preceding points)
  •     most points
  •     most wins
  •     most draws
  •     the team that won most encounters between the tied teams during the Regular Season
  •     highest Buchholz score

[3.]Fixtures and Picking Night - Regular Season


1. Picking Night:

[list type=decimal][*]The fixtures themselves are made by the teams during the Picking Night.
[*]This Picking Night takes place every Monday between 18.00 and 20.00 BST or respectively GMT.
[*]Each team is allotted a timeslot of five minutes to pick their opponents.
[*]Priority during the Picking Night is first given to the:
[list type=decimal][*]Teams with the least amount of matches won/tied.
[*]In case multiple teams have same amount of wins/ties, then the team with the most points in the Ranking Table will have picking priority.
[*]In case multiple teams have same amount of wins/ties and points, then picking order for teams involved will be randomized.
[*]For the first Picking Night, picking order will be randomized.[/list]
[*]In case of team failing to pick opponent during the allotted time-slot, their opponent will be randomly selected.
[*]You can not pick the opponent you have played against in previous WMT Week.
[/list]
2. Maps & Factions:

[*]For the Regular Season maps and factions will be pre-determined.
[*]You can see map pool for the Regular Season below in the Map Pool section.

3. Organizing Match:

[*]Both Teams must agree on a date and time as well as book a server before Wednesday evening at 20:00 BST.
[*]Should teams fail to contact each other or fail to agree on date and time. Then contact a tournament Admin so he can sort it out between both of you.

[4.]"The Masters" - Single Elimination stage and Map Picking

1. SE bracket:

[*]Team positions in the Single Elimination bracket are determined by their position in the Masters Tour Table.
[*]In case of 8 teams Single Elimination bracket, there will be Quarterfinals:
  • Quarterfinal A: 1st placed team in the Masters Tour Table versus 8th placed team.
  • Quarterfinal B: 2nd placed team in the Masters Tour Table versus 7th placed team.
  • Quarterfinal C: 3rd placed team in the Masters Tour Table versus 6th placed team.
  • Quarterfinal D: 4th placed team in the Masters Tour Table versus 5th placed team.
[*]Semi Finals:
  • Semifinal A: Winner of the Quarterfinal A versus the Winner of the Quarterfinal D.
  • Semifinal B: Winner of the Quarterfinal B versus the Winner of the Quarterfinal C.
or, in the case of 4 teams
  • Semifinal A: 1st placed team in the Masters Tour Table versus 4th placed team.
  • Semifinal B: 2nd placed team in the Masters Tour Table versus 3rd placed team.

[*]In case match ends in a draw after 2 maps, tiebreaker map will be played.
[*]Tiebreaker map, Winterburg, will be played first to 3.
[*]Teams will select their own factions for this map.
[*]Factions can be mirrored.
[*]First team to pick the faction will be the first team in the fixtures.
[*]Winner of the SemiFinal A will face Winner of SemiFinal B. Winner of this match will be named WMT Champion.
[*]Defeated team of the SemiFinal A will face Defeated team of SemiFinal B. Winner of this match will finish WMT as third placed team.[/list]
2. Map Picking:
[list type=decimal][*]During the Single Elimination part of the tournament teams will be able to pick maps for their matches.
[*]Maps can be picked from the complete map pool(both Regular Season and SE).
[*]The maps will be picked by the teams themselves during a Picking Night held on Monday.
[*]Both teams have 2 vetoes to ban out a map from the complete map pool.
[*]Team A is the team that had most points in the Table of the Regular Season.
[*]Team A vetoes the first map, Team B a second map, Team A a third map and, finally, Team B a fourth map.
[*]Then Team B picks the first map and Team A the second map for their match.
[*]Factions for both maps will be pre-determined.[/list]



[5.]Roster Rules

1. General roster rules:
[list type=decimal][*]To sign up a team must provide the tournament administration with a roster consisting of 8 or more players.
[*]In addition to this team representatives must provide in-game ID's at least 24 hours before their first match.
[*]Teams that fail to do so are not eligible to play the match and will have forfeit it.
[*]In case this happens, their opponent will receive default win.
[*]Should a player not be on a roster and play for a team for which he is eligible, then the player will be treated as a member of that team and will be added to their roster.
[*]Roster changes are allowed only during the Regular Season.
[*]Any game ID listed to a player in a team roster must be unique to that player (using a game ID that has been used by any other player at any point is forbidden).

2. Transfers:

[*]Transfers may be requested by the players themselves or the Captain of his designated new team.
[*]A player is able to play for his new team once the tournament administration has confirmed the requested transfer.
[*]The player is not allowed to play for his new team if the tournament administration did not confirm the transfer.
[*]Once a player have played one match for the team he is signed up for he cannot request a transfer.

3. Multi-teaming:
[list type=decimal][*]It is strictly prohibited for a player to play for more than one team at any given point during the tournament.
[*]If a player is found to be on the roster for more than one team that player will be disqualified for the rest of the tournament.
[*]Teams who have accepted a player already on the roster of another team will face sanctions.
[*]These sanctions will be determined by the admin team.

[6.]Match Rules

1. General match rules:

[*]Matches will be played with 8 players on each team. If both teams agree it can be played with even more players.
[list type=decimal][*]Should a team fail to bring the required 8 players then they have to play regardless.
[*]A team must have a minimum of 6 players present at the match for it to take place.
[*]Should a team fail to bring 6 or more players then the other team will get default win.
[*]In case one team can not field 8 players then the other team is not obliged to match their numbers.
[*]Should both teams not be able to bring 8 players then it is allowed to reschedule to another day and/or get an extension by talking to one of the admins.[/list]
[*]Every match will consist of two maps. Each map has two sets. Each set is played first to 3 to win.
[*]Spawn and Factions are swapped after the first set on each map.
[*]The winner of the match is the team that won most rounds after two maps.
[*]Match must start (at latest) 15 minutes after arranged time.
[*]Team that is ready to play after this period of time can claim right to default win if their opponent is not ready to start.
[*]Before claiming rights to a default win be sure to contact admins or capture screenshots.[/list]
2. Servers and in-game settings:
[list type=decimal][*]All matches must be played on dedicated WMT servers.
[*]Both teams have to agree to play on a particular server.
[*]If the teams cannot agree on a particular server, they have to ask tournament administrator for a decision.
[*]Team representatives must book server for their upcoming match.
[*]Standard WNL/ECS/WWC server settings will be used in the matches.
[*]Those settings are:
  • Combat Speed: Medium, Friendly Fire: %100, Round Time: 180 seconds,
  • Game Type: Battle, Respawn time: 8 seconds, Gold: All set to %100,
  • Camera: team member’s view, forced MoF spawn at 2 minutes.

3. Substitutions:
[list type=decimal][*]Substitutions are allowed between rounds.
[*]If a player crashes in game, substitutions can be done after the round has ended.[/list]
4. Behavior during the matches:
[list type=decimal][*]Players must play with the name they are signed up under in the team roster.
[*]If a player plays with a different name for the first time, he or she will be warned.
[*]For the second time he or she will be suspended for one match.
[*]Players must wear the team tag during official matches.
[*]If a player plays with a different tag or without one for the first time, he or she will be warned.
[*]For the second time he or she will be suspended for one match.
[*]Modifying any texture files in order to gain an advantage is strictly prohibited.
[*]Any player or team that is found to have modified textures in order to gain an advantage will immediately face severe punishment, likely a ban from the tournament, though the severity is up to the admin's discretion.
[*]Players that attempt to utilize any kind of autoblock, aimbot, coloured projectiles or any other game modification that gives them an advantage will be immediately banned from the tournament.
[*]Cosmetic changes, such as round timers and crosshairs,etc, do not count.
[*]When requested by the match referee players must take a screenshot of their game view while holding any kind of ranged weapon or, if they have no ranged weapon, their melee weapon, spear or lance. Players should ensure the screenshot contains the referee message, the scoreboard and buildings or players. Concerned players must post their screenshot within 30 minutes of the match ending on the forums or send it to a tournament admin or the match referee. Failing to comply with any part of this rule will result in a one match ban for that player
[*]Spectating the match by joining a team is not allowed at any given point. If a player is found spectating by joining a team, documented by footage for example, he will be suspended for one match.
[*]During matches any chat messages that are deemed to be malicious, racist, or bullying towards an individual on another team are prohibited and may be disciplined upon review
[*]If player or a team breaks a rule Admins will have meeting and decide if and how they will be punished

[*]During the Single Elimination part of the tournament teams will be able to pick maps for their matches.
[*]Maps being added for the Single Elimination are:

The long standing rule from the Polish Cup, that refs can request screenshots, has been included in standard tournament rulesets and will be added here. Captains are encouraged to ensure their players are fully familiar with this rule.

Another long standing rule preventing speccing by joining the team, has also been added.
