This also makes using larger battle size less rewarding.

Yes. Just don't send your soldiers to such fiefs.

In theory, yes. I actually wonder if there is anything impossible in Warband, unless it's about hard-coded limits (like a maximum of 255 map icons).
If I was a developer, I would use try_for_agents after the first wave spawns to calculate a number of troops, and then, after the end of the battle, adjust renown accordingly.
There is also options_get_battle_size, but its description is confusing, so I'm not sure if it works as it should.
However, one would also need to make sure some people don't abuse it by changing battle size in the middle of the battle. So it would all probably end up in a trigger that requests current BS every N seconds, compares it to the old one, and if they are not equal, fills the screen with messages "Ah, you cheater!", ~~kills the player character and blows up the PC~~.

That looks hard. I'm not very good with the module system other than changing some values and adding existing lines lol. Guess I'll just increase the renown gain a tiny bit.

With Leonion's permission, i would like to add a little tweak which appeals for my aesthetic side of the game.

Adding more Kingdom Colors.

This tweak will allow you to add more colors for your kingdom via the Minister. The colors specifically are from ALL the Knighthood Orders and SOME of the minor factions.

As always, make sure to back up your files before messing with them.

1)Open "conversation.txt" located in your pendor mod folder.
2)Locate the first number of the file (should be on the second line) and ADD 26 to it.
3)Locate the following line and at the end of it press ENTER.

After you are done save the file and reload your game. When you talk to your Minister and ask for a new Kingdom Color, you should notice there are plenty more options available.

Got something that might be useful for some. Made leonion's tweak #14 to enable creating KO chapters in any of your faction's walled fief when you're the king.

First, follow the instructions for tweak #14 below.

So, if you are a king/queen, you will no longer have to be the lord of a fief to be able to create a chapter of a knighthood order in it. As long as a fief that belongs to your kingdom doesn't have an owner yet, you will be able create a KO chapter in it too.
The tweak adds a new "shortcut" dialogue option to stewards of such fiefs.
1) Open conversation.txt. Increase the number at the very top of this file by 1.
2) Find the line that starts with "dlga_steward_menu:pop2_war_room_menu". Press Enter at the very end of this line and insert the following:

Have you ever found yourself getting annoyed by kings' unwillingness to enter a truce even though you've taken 5 of their faction's fiefs and defeated a lot more of their lords? So, if you are a king/queen, you will no longer have to be the lord of a fief to be able to create a chapter of a knighthood order in it. As long as a fief that belongs to your kingdom doesn't have an owner yet, you will be able create a KO chapter in it too.
The tweak adds a new "shortcut" dialogue option to stewards of such fiefs.
1) Open conversation.txt. Increase the number at the very top of this file by 1.
2) Find the line that starts with "dlga_steward_menu:pop2_war_room_menu". Press Enter at the very end of this line and insert the following:

A couple questions:

1.- I assume that the first tweak will make it so that i can found chapters on already owned fiefs so long as i am the king, correct?
2.- Can i also dismantle orders from already owned fiefs?
3.- Does tweak #2 apply for the AI vs AI as well? If so, does this mean that the AI will wage war and truce more frequently?

So, if you are a king/queen, you will no longer have to be the lord of a fief to be able to create a chapter of a knighthood order in it. As long as a fief that belongs to your kingdom doesn't have an owner yet, you will be able create a KO chapter in it too.

With this, kings will start seeking truce once they get 300 war damage. Here's the list of actions that will inflict war damage if you're curious. Not sure if these are all of them though.
Raid a village = 5
Win battle against lord = 10 for each lord defeated
Taking a castle = 20
Taking a town = 40

A couple questions:

1.- I assume that the first tweak will make it so that i can found chapters on already owned fiefs so long as i am the king, correct?
2.- Can i also dismantle orders from already owned fiefs?
3.- Does tweak #2 apply for the AI vs AI as well? If so, does this mean that the AI will wage war and truce more frequently?

1. Yep.
2. Nope. Shouldn't be too hard to make it possible though.
3. It does apply in AI vs AI. But AIs will find it almost impossible to inflict 300 war damage without receiving 100 war damage unless they're in three way wars or assisted by the player. So it probably won't affect their war frequency so much.

A couple questions:

1.- I assume that the first tweak will make it so that i can found chapters on already owned fiefs so long as i am the king, correct?
2.- Can i also dismantle orders from already owned fiefs?
3.- Does tweak #2 apply for the AI vs AI as well? If so, does this mean that the AI will wage war and truce more frequently?

1. Yep.
2. Nope.
3. It does apply in AI vs AI. But AIs will find it almost impossible to inflict 300 war damage without receiving 100 war damage unless they're in three way wars or assisted by the player. So it probably won't affect their war frequency so much.

Alright thanks, the second tweak looks interesting honestly as i've seen the AI being super resilient and wars between my kingdom vs another one can last months, even if you are clearly kicking their butts.

Actually the war damage doesn't increase when you defeat a king or take them prisoner (I didn't know that until you mentioned it).
Taking a lord prisoner will also only inflict 10 damage.
Also there's a high chance that there are other way(s) to get war damage. I have got 226 war damage in another saved game and have no idea where extra 1 came from.

Was searching through and did not find an answer to my question, so i'll post it there rather than starting a new topic. Does anyone know how to change the price for recruiting companions? I made almost all of them into blank slates (like leslie pretty much) and its a bit... expensive... to fork over 8000 denars for a blank slate character. Any idea on how to make them all have no cost? Thanks in advance!

Prices are values stored in slot 141.
The assignment of prices is done inside of initialize_npcs script.

The pattern you need is 500 3 bignumber_which_is_a_companion 141 value.
So just lower these values.
You will have to start a new game though.

Personally I never found time nor money requirements fro CKO equipment in any need of change, and therefore never tried to find out how it works and where this code is located.

Hmm... I thought you discovered such, my bad... Just checked, and it was VenomTail who added them.

The lines of code are these, found within the scripts.txt code.

I'll do tomorrow some testing on my own, but I wanted to ask you as you gained a well known reputation within PoP for your tweaks in the coding
