Just got an idea after noticing a Knight of the Dawn patrol w/ 265 prisoners. A tweak that lets patrolling knighthood orders drop off prisoners in the garrison of the town/castle their chapterhouse is located would be pretty rad, just like lords that patrol centers do for their prisoners.

Leonion, I've been wondering one thing, that bugs me in basically all mods, including Native: What do you think, is it possible to edit/tweak the possible conversations (and actions) while being the marshall, so that you can still give the "May I suggest a course of action" related orders to other lords? (Currently these are available only when you are not the marshall) I'm mostly missing the option to tell a lord to besiege a walled fief on his own by saying this: "There is a fortress that can be taken easily....". As a marshall, it would be a neat feat to have the whole arsenal of orders for more options in a war, like opening sieges on multiple fronts :fruity:.
The player character as a marshall, could for example take a town with the major forces of the faction's army, while ordering two other lords/vassals to start a siege on two different castles that need to build siege towers. After taking the city, the player could then just join these two lords one after another by telling them to mount the ladders inmediately (this would come most handy when the player did not specialize heavily in the engineering skill). Adding a new order to make some lords follow the lords that you designate as a marshall would also be a nice addition in my opinion, if you could do such things. I know that by the endgame, you can already steamroll everything with various KO units, hero adventurers, etc. However when you are still a vassal, or you have just found your own kingdom and it is threatened by destruction because three other factions declared war on you at the same time, you could save the ass of the faction you are part of by splitting the forces of the army more effectively.
I don't know how much time you've got currently and are these even doable, as I'm merely just asking what do you think about the things I've said. Anyway, thank you very much in advance for your responses!

The thing that bothers me the most about looting is that having companions takes away a ton of your loot whereas each stack of your troops take one, and they don't even equip themselves with all the sweet loot they get. Is there a way to stop these greedy bastards from taking so much of my loot?

I think the "each stack takes one" is wrong. There was a lot of discussion on it recently.

Ah I see, I was told long long time ago (I think it might have been the wiki... I dont remember) that while companions take 3 share each stack of troops take 1 share.

So this is some feedback from a bit of playtesting, increasing the player loot from the script to 100 did not increase the amount of the loot I got, instead if just crashed the looting or something and I was getting very very little amount of loot even though I was fighting big parties and spawns with 10 companions and 50-100 immortals. Then I tried putting that back at 10 and changed companions loot from 3 to 1 and then it started working normally. For the second part the amount of loot I got seemed normal and I didn't see much difference even when running just 11-man party and tried changing it back and forth with savescumming

So-called "player_share" in calculate_main_party_shares script is in fact not really your share.
It is just a value that is added to hero companions' shares and ordinary troops' shares, and the greater the final value, the lower your loot_probability is.
So the greater this "player_share", the worse your loot will be.
At least if you're working with .txt files, not with a module system.
In a module system this value is a constant named player_loot_share and it is also used in looting script to make loot better, so increasing the constant will positively affect your looting chance, but only in a module system. In .txt files these are just compiled independent numbers.

Here is the easiest way to increase loot_probability:

My bad, I didn't know that it doesn't work that way. It worked for me because I decreased the companion shares to 1 and added a line to divide total non-hero shares by 3 (no idea why did I do it this way).

For anyone using the compiled list of tweaks from Leonion - is tweak #1 Smarter Patrols working for you? I'm not seeing the dialogue options for my own village patrol.

Are you a king/queen?
This tweak only works for patrols of your own kingdom (regardless of whether they are from your village or not).

Hey, I'm having a small problem using your multi pack download thing. About 200 days in and I walked up to a blue name party of 0, forgot what the name was, anyways, im getting this every half second in my chat

Unrecognized opcode -2147483515 Line NO : 17
At simple trigger trigger no: 127
At simple trigger trigger no : 127
At simple trigger trigger no : 127

Any way to fix this or turn if off? I've tried a fresh install, and anything else you can imagine. Only happens on this save. If I can't fix it, can I atleast turn off this message?

I found your solution, but how long do I have to wait before the error messages stop showing up and I can reset the loop? Its been a bit :/

Ouch.
I'm, sorry, I miscalculated an opcode.
Try these files:

...and the fix if just replacing them doesn't help.

Could you add this 'Wife as companion' tweak? I'm fairly sure it's outdated and need some changes to make it work with the latest version of warband.

It's not about a version of Warband, it's about the mod.

And answering the question - no, I'm sorry, I'm not interested in this one.
