Hälsingland Regiment is proud to announce, that a new linebattle event will be hosted.

We can see that this mod has a great potential, and the recent growth of community is a great confirmation of that.
The only problem is that this mod lacks events, so that's why we came up with an idea to host our own event, which would be a nice fullfilment between The Deluge Reloaded events, which are (at least for now) being hosted once a month.

Our linebattle events will not interfere with TDR events, they will be just something to fill the gap between them, to keep the community alive and happy.

Event's going to be hosted on every Sunday, at 20:20 GMT, apart from the weeks, when The Deluge Reloaded event is being hosted.

NEXT EVENT WILL BE HOSTED ON: 3rd July, 20:20 GMT

------------------

Regiments ought to use their own teamspeak3 servers, but if they have problem with theirs, then we can provide one.
Regimental leaders are to have me and Jacmob in their friends list, and they will be messaged with details 15 minutes before the event's start.
They should also keep us posted about any changes in the quantity of their applied unit.

Please allow Officer Aim for all, this is Deluge, not NW!

Please dont allow Engineers for Line Infantry. Otherwise you will see thousands of earthworks.

Please dont allow wagons for Line Infantry. Wagons are for the Lights/Dragoons.

Please NO! Keep Deluge beeing Deluge!

Please allow Officer Aim for all, this is Deluge, not NW!

Officer Aim is something noone likes, so this rule will stay.

Please dont allow Engineers for Line Infantry. Otherwise you will see thousands of earthworks.

We'll think about that.

Please dont allow wagons for Line Infantry. Wagons are for the Lights/Dragoons.

As in TDR rules, Line Infantry can use wagons, can't see anything wrong about that.

Please NO! Keep Deluge beeing Deluge!

By NW rules we mainly mean Officer Aim, and no Firing out of Formation, rest is almost the same as in the TDR rules

Thanks for Your feedback, if You have any more suggestions, we're more than happy to hear all of them .

We've never been using this rule on Deluge and I also never hear about some officer complaining for this. It's the matter of infantry whether they want to waste bullets trying to shoot an officer that is far from the main line. When I'm leading a cavalry charge I often get shot first with a volly pointed directly at me, while the rest of my squad remains alive... so it's not always profitable to aim officers

Ok, we will give your event a try

Have You read the rules, and do You agree to obey them?: Of course.

Please dont allow Engineers for Line Infantry. Otherwise you will see thousands of earthworks.

This please, sometimes The Deluge looks like Verdun but with matchlocks muskets instead of rifles.

Please dont allow wagons for Line Infantry. Wagons are for the Lights/Dragoons.
As in TDR rules, Line Infantry can use wagons, can't see anything wrong about that.

I don't mind if infantry uses them, but keep that to use them as cover please, it'll be really annoying when you see a full caravan of wagons moving around the map with infantry on it.

Alright then, we made some changes in the rules:

Both:

- No shovels and engineers allowed for infantry units.
- Allowed to use wagon, but only as a cover.

Also public players can participate in the event, after they sign up, they'll be assigned to the regiment (as mercs).

Hope You guys are all happy, if You still have any suggestions, we're still waiting for them ;D.

We'll set up the date of next event after we have enough people signed up for the event.

Out of interest how many people are you waiting to sign up before you announce it? I'm dying to try this.

We want to have at least 100 men signed up for the event, then we'll set up the date ;D (And actually we're very close to this number - we'll give the date probably at the end of the week/beggining of next week, so stay tuned!)

But it'll probably take place on saturday, 18:00 GMT or 20:00 GMT (± 15 minutes)

Ladies and Gentlemen,
we have a date!

Our first event will be hosted on 24th April - Sunday, 20:15 GMT

The details will be given to the leaders 5 minutes before the start (teams will be given out after all regiments get on the server), also public players will be informed, which regiment they are assigned to.

Team 1    Team 2

Poland      Russia

See You on the battlefield lads!

- Officer Aim definitely not allowed.
As Czeremis said before. We never used this rule any time in The Deluge and everyone was happy, so I don't see a point to obey it now. Don't make NW from the Deluge. For many players that rule isn't even "ok rule". And when officer gets killed there is always atleast one person which can command rest of regiment or even that killed  officer can command "from the air".

One question. Cavalry must shoot and charge in formation? All classes?
