catapult?

Does it serve any purpose? If you shoot, you can't see what you hit, and you get to see a message: farmer killed by farmer, also I've noticed that ammunition does not depelete when firing, am I doing something wrong? or is the catapult really just useless?

Given the early stage of pirates of calradia, the catapult is not very usable. Thats one of the reasons why I decided to go back to native. The new version is up, I mean, if you keep seeing the catapult is because you are using the old version still 

thanks, for the reply. I downloaded the new version, but m&b is not on this pc as it is not mine I'll be able to check the version in a day or 2 when I'ù home, at my pc wich unfortunately doesn't have acces to the internet
