[WPL] Single-elimination information!

The first season of the Warband Pro League has officially ended. Congratulations to wK, TMW, KoB, GA, Unity, and SG for making it to the single-elimination stage of the tournament, you all get the chance to compete for the prize pool of $1100. So with no further ado, I'll explain how this stage will work.

Our single-elimination stage will consist of six teams, lasting three weeks long. The stages of single-elimination are the following, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals. The first and second seeded teams from the regular season will receive a BYE for the quarter-finals, leaving the other four teams to face off and decide who will play the top seeds in the semi-finals. The order of the matches are the following, the third seed will play the sixth seed, and the fourth seed will play the fifth seed. The lower seed winner will go on to play the first seed, and the higher seed winner will go on to play the second seed. After that, the winner of both semi-finals matches, will play each other in the finals for the chance to be crowned the WPL S1 Champion.

Fixtures for the WPL single-elimination will be using the pick and ban system that was implemented in ECS2. This is how the system works, for those who didn't get to play in the ECS;

System said:

(1) The maps will be picked by the teams themselves during a pick night held on Tuesday.
(2) Both teams have 2 vetoes to ban out a map from the complete map pool. Team A vetoes the first map, Team B a second map, Team A a third map and, finally, Team B a fourth map. Then Team A picks the first map and Team B the second map. 1
(3) Factions will be pre-selected for both maps. 2
