Do you really think I must explain to you why obvious bull**** is invalid ? Well, you are wrong, use your own brain, I don't owe you anything.
Example :
If you really think axes killing with wooden shafts is ok then you need help from specialists in white coats
Long pole weapons must do full damage only with weapons head, otherwise its just cheesy weapon acting like two meters 2h Sword. Pole weapons usually gets balanced around the fact that its harder to land good hit with them so devs usually make them "heavy-hitting" weapons and there is no point if its acting like two meter sword. Same goes to long axes.

Keep same combat

Combat system where one has to adjust the grip (of an axe) during the fight, or try to keep the distance, so that the opponent is on that small range of the axe's blade is just too complicated. This is a video game we're talking about, not a medieval simulator.

I prefer the Warband combat, it's fun. Fun > Realism.

He/she didn't say that.
He/she said that fun beats realism.

And now I feel like a robot.

I watch videos on youtube all day about katanas vs european longswords. I wield my meaty bastard sword with a hand-and-a-half grip and all m'buxom wenches take note when I raise it into the high guard.

2 questions come to mind:

A: What game or games do you think do combat well/ or better than warband?

B: Why do you assume the shaft of the weapon is doing max damage?

Lol always funny to see people defend arguments by just saying "You're too stupid to realize I'm right, it's so obvious I don't even have to explain it".

No one does, you are the only person saying that. Everyone else is saying this:

having a larger hitbox for the blade of a 2h axe is a simplification of adjusting your grip in real life.

etc.

You should go watch some other videos from that channel you linked, especially the ones about two meter 2h swords which were probably used very similarly to pole weapons... and definitely were not "heavy hitting" or "harder to land a good hit" but usually as lightweight as possible. I think there are also a few about how video games and movies make 2h weapons seem insanely heavy, when IRL anything that hard to swing would just get you killed before you could do anything. More importantly, for balancing gameplay I don't think the way most games do it is that fun or interesting. As I said, I agree with you 2h weapons sometimes do look stupid in Warband, but I don't think they are OP at all. They can seem extremely OP when you're a noob, but you pretty much never seen more than one single 2h used per team in a competitive match (more often you dont see them used at all).

Another question for TW :
Does Bannerlord have neck hitbox and decapitations ? (propably they will ignore it too).

Because 2h shaft hit with left swing instakill people like easy mode.
A: Both of Warband successors improved in many ways, but Chivalry have same flaw with polearms like wooden shaft beheading people :]

Its not fun, it looks like bull**** got real. This obvious change have nothing to do with medieval simulation, its just common sense. You inability to grasp that is really disturbing. Idk why I must repeat myself, its obvious and logical things based on practical use, maybe you're just dumb and I wasting my time answering you and others like you.

**** off lol

If Alene thinks it's fun, that's her opinion. Need to tell her she's dumb and wasting your time because of that.
If you get too frustrated by the people replying to you, just don't reply. If you do reply, keep it friendly, no need to be a twat.

Agreed, but there's always room for debates and discussions. Don't just go around saying how stupid people are. Kappa. Or you wont be posting anymore on this thread. Kappa.

To make it more obvious for some people "who cannot".

Here I instakill infantry with my fist that holds axe grip and axe head is nowhere around the target, it passes by :

Fv2lw6V.gif

With 2h long axes things even more ridiculous with only shaft going through body.

If you really think that its fine, it should be that way, its fun or whatever, something wrong with your head. Bingo.

Nobody has denied that this happens  Your inability to grasp this clearly shows which side is stupid. All the people have said is that they don't care about it, because they just want a fun game. You're entitled to say "It's not fun when it's like that", and nobody is going to say you're not allowed that opinion, but just because people don't agree with you does not mean you have any excuse to insult them.
