"bodo wants to talk to you" in Odin's cave mission.

In that (story) mission where you have to go to Odin's Cave to retrieve Bodo's letter Bodo and Reinhald (forgot his name) follows you into battle. a few seconds after beginning to fight Bodo freezes and those fighting him. if you press tab it says bodo wants to talk to you but nothing happens. is there a fix to this or is my save broken?

Defeated the enemies then killed myself in the river. then exited the game xD

As soon as you kill to Atli and his vikings, Bodo should open conversation. Maybe you need to start the quest and enter to Odin's cave again.
Another "section" in the cave I guess you can call it. The vikings with chainmail are almost impossible to kill ;-; and I have pretty decent gear.

High Power Strike (8-10) and aiming overhead swings at their head should make things easier. Although to be honest, I always found the cave to be difficult enough to require multiple tries.
