I don't know if this could be considered a tweak or not, but I tried changing the map.txt file with one I edited with the Map Editor.
When I start a new game it freezes. If I LOAD a previously saved game the map loads correctly, but the materials look extremely weird compared to what they look like in the original map:

UPDATE: It hit me today like a kick in the groin. The LaGrandmaster shaders apply winter effects based on height and my map was higher than the original, just enough to cover the whole area with 100% snow.
So if you ever think about changing the V.C. map pay attention to the its height!
kraggrim, can you tell us please, how to modify siege waves and treshholds for attackers and defenders now in VC? And, as far as you know, does tweak for ordinal battles from this thread work for 2.012?
I tried two times, one the enemy was charging and I formed a line, then charged when the enemy hit us. For some reason I couldn't make a shieldwall, so I discarded it since it seemed to be a bug. In this case I think no huscarl died before the enemy fled.
Second time both of us were on shieldwall and I was moving toward the enemy formation. I wanted to recreate some kind of bottleneck, so no one would flank and such.
I just made a new try to make sure, and ordered my guys to charge a shieldwall... similar results.
You guys got me a little worried now
EDIT: If by any chance you want to check it out... here is the save file:

EDIT 2: I went out and edited again the enemy party. I even removed the lord, and put 100 huscarls there too. These were the results: http://puu.sh/lKlLC/257414e964.png
Both parties charging.
It doesn't seem exaggerated... it really does seem huscarls are a bit OP.
Yeah that's how I thought to do it, too. I do still (luckily) have the installers for the older versions kicking around. Without knowing if I could get 'em again, that's a good thing of having a cluttered downloads directory
At some point I'll have a go, post up whatever I can for dl. That Godelic Axe from .02 was cool.
Well, in that case, let's hope they stay that way. I'm curious as to how they would manage against 100 Irish elite skirmishers. With all the stamina/heavy gear settings.

So add 435 + the number of items you are adding to those instances of 288230376151712875. I think that's it anyway. For my pict mod that added 16 items I appear to have changed it to 288230376151713026. The 435 is the stab-only version of weapons that are used for some game-mechanic I don't understand, they're in the game but don't show in the item list, so your new items will be after them in the list.
You should know that these newly added items won't have the equipment modifiers for heavy/medium stuff. There is potentially a way to add this too, so try to have your items in blocks of types. So have all your heavy armour next to each other in the list (after all the existing items, dont put them in the midle of the list). Should make it easier to implement the skill modifiers if I get round to working it out.
Edit: for 2.021 it appears to now be 135 + the number of items you are adding, though I've not tested this yet.
Its possible to change troop type to norse based on religion composition of the fief(like pagans are the majority here=norse troops) instead of owning faction based?
Also there is any tweak to decrease STR requeriment for troll axe(21 is too much)?
That ten floating there by itself are the base odds of getting a ship. Although looting skill supposedly increases this chance, changing it to a 99 didn't cause any errors. I now capture a ship after each battle.
The green "5 15" has to do with how damaged the ships are. Change it to 5 100 to get a chance of ANY condition ship, or 100 100 to ONLY get "very good" condition ships.
The TYPE of ship you get after battle will be whatever the largest ship is in the final stage of battle. If you fight a lord or outlaw (a combatant) you will get a Busse, Skeid or Snekkja, depending on the numbers in the final battle and your selected battle size. Turn battle size up greater than 300 will maximize your chances of getting a Busse when fighting groups larger than 100. Lords are more likely to bring Busse into battle, Vikings Skeid, and Sea Kings usually fight with Karvi and Snekkja.
There is one bug that I have found, probably in the base code and not the tweak: If you choose to "have your men board the enemy without you", you will be awarded an exact copy of whatever the last boat you were awarded in a legitimate battle. So... If you fight a lord and win a sweet oak Busse? Now go and fight a couple of fishers, merchants or priests, and you will win more sweet oak Busse. They will have different names, however. That appears to come from some other part of the code.
I have reported this bug, though, so it may be fixed soon.
Nice one, will link on the front page. Can you edit your post to add a wee descriptive title and the VC version (number) you did this for?
For the damage to the ship, it will hopefully be in that same section somewhere, I'll have a quick look now. I think I have a note somewhere of what the numbers for min/max ship health are, depends if I can find it...
Ok, this is a quick guess but that 5 to 15 might be the % health of the acquired ship.
I don't even know about fixing the other problem (ship type gained is from last phase of battle), might be like that for balance reasons. You could ask in the support forum maybe.
