removed with VC 2.025. As in, this mechanic/feature no longer exists. No need to tweak it.

So should I change the 31 1 1 to 31 2 1 0?

Also, the number under  npc_decision_checklist_peace_or_war -1 was 453 so I changed it to 454.

Just double checking I've got all of this right.

I think 31 2 1 0 is the correct way to do it, but I put 31 1 1, as I didn't fully understand it when I copied it from the tweak tool. I basically ingnored that 0. I put "(eq, 1)," for all the switch off tweaks and they all work.

Hi,

I got two requests:

1) I'm pretty sure that there was a tweak to define the earliest point enemies try to flee a battle in seconds (think I set mine to 200 seconds), but for the life of me I can't find it again, although I'd really like to set it higher since I hate running after fleeing combatants (alternative would be to idle around, which isn't exactly thrilling either).

2) I would love to always be on horse in towns/farms. I know there is a tweak in the VC_Tweaks tool, but as I understand it, it would undo all the other changes I made and even if not, I tried it and it messed up my whole game (to be fair, the readme said to not load a game, but start a new one, but that's out of the question. I'll give it another shot, when I start a new game some day).

Does anyone know these tweaks?

Edit: 3) Also if there were a tweak to prevent horses from dying, that would be awesome (not making them invincible, but preventing them from completely disappearing from your inventory)

Another edit: 4) "Join either side in an ongoing battle Reforged/2.0" tweak is reported as broken, any chance someone can fix this?^^

suggestion: what you can do is use the game source code and/or Tweaks Tool on another module, apply the new tweaks you want and compare the before/after on the .txt and see if you can then apply those changes to your own mod. Learning the basics of how those numbers work and what they do would give you the freedom for more.

updates for old tweaks and/or new ones published here are unlikely are this point (most players moved on already).

Good idea (honestly), though it would probably help if I knew which file handles the the chance of riding your horse into town (+ it would probably be a lot easier if I would do this with a vanilla file),
but the other changes aren't in the vc_tweak tool, so that wouldn't work.

Also, I guessed that new tweaks probably wouldn't be made, I just hoped someone here knew already existing tweaks which aren't listed here (for some reason).
Anyways, had a look at those other tweak threads (as recommended in the initial post) and found some other nice things I could figure out how to apply to vc which is nice. yay.)

Change the 45 to a value of your liking, I chose 1200, which translates to 1200 seconds, meaning no enemy can flee before the battle lasted at least 1200 seconds, more than enough time to kill them all.

Edit: Okay, scratch that. Either there is another factor forcing the enemy to flee or it's just the wrong value xD. Anyways, somewhere there might be the solution to my problem. Hm, I wonder what I've changed there?! At first it seemed to work, but just now I had a battle where the enemy tried to flee, so...

small update: since i changed the value above, it doesn't stop enemy troops completely from running away, but it definitely reduced it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In this paragraph edit the number 2 which is in bold text to a percentage of your choice, I know that in the description of the pathfinding skill it says that it every level of the skill increases your party speed by 3% but in Viking Conquest it is actually 2 by default, they didn't bother to change the description I guess.
 
In case you're having trouble finding the bold nuber 2 press ctrl+f and paste this in the search box:

and edit the number 2 before 2105 not the one after it.

I was looking for this tweak for quite a while and couldn't find it and now that I managed to dig it up I wanted to share it so other people who might be looking for it don't have to go through the same process as I did.

Reinforcement waves adjustment for a standard battle tweak doesn't work any more, for anyone wondering.  :facepalm:
