What loot can you find in the strange ruins?

What loot can you find in the strange ruins? Can the area be run several times until you kill everyone?

There's a sweet sword called "Nad" and some Scale armor - at least that's what I got

I got the sword but I was not able to clear out the place the first time. When I came back for a second round the only option was to "Leave". Is this temporary?

I think the sword is the overall reward - you get it for killing the bandit leader and I don't think you get anything for clearing it out completely
