Túatha Dál Neamhan (francophone)

      Túatha Dál Neamhan signifie "clan de Neamhan". Neamhan (ou Nemhain) dont le nom signifie "frénésie" ou "panique" est , dans la mythologie irlandaise , un déesse de la guerre . Avec Badb , Morrigane et Macha , elles constituent un groupe de divinités guerrières qui apparaissent tantôt sous les traits de belles jeunes femmes , tantôt comme des corbeaux , croassant au-dessus des champs de bataille.
Nous sommes donc un clan goidelic/gaëls au nombre de 40 guerriers aux service de Cormac ua Neamhen (descendants de Neamhan). Tous les guerriers du clan doivent porter après leur nom gaelic "ua Neamhen".

          In the eighth century , population growth and succession wars forced the Scandinavians , Norwegians and Danes to leave their territories. Varangians moved in direction of the east and based themselves in Russia and splited up in order to create embryos States , the Vikings (word came from the Norse fara í Vikingu : an expedition and Vikingar which designates those who leave) roll in the western British Isles and on the continent south.
Intellectually , Ireland then saw a golden age by the dynamism of its religious institutions, but politically , the island is divided among nearly one hundred and fifty tuatha ( clans ) , each headed by a rí (king) . These leaders are themselves subject to the king of one of the five provinces ( Ulster , Connacht , Munster, Leinster and Meath ) . The Ard rí ( supreme king ) is more an honorary title than real authority.
That's when the Vikings arise in the island. The first confirmed expeditions date from 795. The Vikings burn the church of Lambay Island and the monasteries of Inisbifin and Inismurray , which will undergo a new assault in 807. From 812, the Vikings' raids are mainly focused on the coast west and on the shores of the Irish Sea. Around 820, the whole island in under their control. For forty years , the Vikings multiply the raids and forays , favoring monasteries, for their treasures. In 830, they go up the rivers and ravage the lands and the houses of the inhabitants. In 836 , they sailed on the Shannon River  and plundered the Connaught. The following year, two fleets of sixty " longships " each fleet were controlling the Liffey and Boynes' rivers ; then territories were  systematically ravaged, the inhabitants massacred. There are many examples of their misdeeds . Winter 840-841 is a major step because, for the first time, the Vikings spent the season on the island and settled in fortified places which will also become trading places : Dublin, Annagassan , and later , Wexford , Cork, Limerick , etc. These are all entrenched bases which allow shipments inward, culminating point seems to be the year 845 , to the point that this turned into invasion for a lot of people. Celtic kings can sometimes contain them and besiege them.






Activity event :

These battles will go in the following order, resulting in the extinction of the chiefs. Revenge will be possible in the following month in a future German raid. Meanwhile, one of the two factions will be considered as defeated.

• 3 rounds in coastal attack.
• 3 rounds in Shieldwall *.
• 3 rounds in battle plain.
• 3 rounds in regicide (the enemy leader must die).

  Rules :
  
  • 30% of archers and javelinists confused by clan. Example : if you are 10 in your clan, you have the right to get 3 archers / javelinists into the group.
    
  • Only the King of each clan can wear mail armor. Deputy heads who may number up to 3 per clan will be allowed to wear all kind of stuff, except mails. The fighters , meanwhile , can only wear primary equipment which removes any stuff like: mail, gambeson , helm . If any time your RP indicates that your group is kinda special , if it is well presented below, you will have access to what you ask for.
    
  • The cavalry is allowed only in a detachment form (minimum of 4). You can't only have 1 or 2 riders in your group.
    
  • Each clan must have a Staff. Which included a chef, a flag carrier and one horn carrier. Only 1 horn carrier, 1 king and 1 flag carrier is authorized by clan.
    
  • Randoming ( individual soldiers for their group during event ) is allowed only from 3 people. A detachment of assassins or a tactical detachment is only possible with at least 3 players.
    
  • No global chat .
    
  • No troll.
    
  • No insults .
    
  • The rules of Shieldwall : It must be an outright face to face. Diversion is forbidden. It is mandatory to sit tight RIGHT neighbor. The clans must unite in shieldwalls when it is possible. Failure into following this rule will result into a temporary ban.
