So I was looking through one of my grandfather's old history books, which was talking about the Abbasid conquests. It mentioned the Sabians, who "worshiped Orpheus". Their Wikipedia page vaugley suggests that there were Abrahamic and Hellenic branches, with the latter having nothing to do with Orpheus, with no sources cited. I'm interested in seeing if anyone knows about this religion, as there seems to be a lack of clear information about them.
