Twillight of the Mughal Empire is another attempt by me (formerly known ad moraka) to make a mughal mod(this time it is going to be finished). But since last attempt I decided to try an idea I had. Instead of making a historical mod, it would be easier and a bit more fund to make a fantasy mod instead.

Features

Bandits
Bandits like faction troops have five levels of upgrades and their equipment does not change with upgrades. Bandit parties are bigger and feature three levels of bandits. Most bandit types now have two variations, melee and missile.

Factions
6 new factions: Gurkani Empire, Maratha Empire, Hyderabad State, Bengal State, Mysore Kingdom, Durrani Sultanate

Faction Troops
Faction troops have five levels of upgrades. Their equipment does not change with upgrades.
Faction troops come in the overall types of: irregulars, regulars and elites.

Quick Battle
The characters have been modified.
The types of troops have been modified.

Irregulars are of course the cheapest and the most lowest quality troops. They are recruited in villages and come in the following types.

Irregulars:
Archer
Javelinman
Swordsman
Spearman
Cavalryman

Regulars:
Lancer
Mounted Archer
Mounted Musketeer
Musketeer

Elites:
Musketeer
Mounted Archer

Differences:
The Maratha don't have any infantrymen. Their elites consist of mounted archer, lancer and
mounted musketeer.
The Durrani have mounted blunderbussmen instead of mounted musketeers.

Items
Just about all the items have been replaced with new items.
Horses now come in the variations: pony(cheapest), light horses, heavy horses, armored and Arabians(high quality light horses)
The mod features several types of firearms pistols, muskets and blunderbuss. There are also matchlock and flintlock variations. The flintlock are more expensive, but are faster to reload.

Mercenaries
Mercenaries have three upgrade levels, level 1 corresponds to a level 3 regular faction trooper. Mercenaries come in the following types: horseman, cavalry archer, blunderbussman, cavalry musketeer, swordsman, spearman, matchlock musketeer, flintlock musketeer.

Other
Prisoners can now be recruited every 8 hours.
Manhunters now come in 3 levels and in melee and missile types.
Caravan master and watchman are made tougher.
Caravan guards now come in 3 levels and in melee and missile types.
Watchman now come in 2 levels and in melee and missile types.
When being caught by the town guards while trying to sneak in. You now have a better chance in a fight.

While i work on the second version of the alpha, i hope that there will be someone, who is willing to test the mod and come with constructive criticism.
One problem with the alpha is that i haven't made the map. I have considered basing this mod on the Golconda Rising, but i simply do not know enough of the world, I also have my own ideas.
This could mean that i have to make my own fantasy map.

Ahhh...well i...was in a very bad mood. Heavy depression messes with your mind. You know what...i will remake the hole thing. I will have an alpha version ready in a month.
