Introduction
After the fall of the great Empire the Adenian Magnates quickly seized the oppertunity and reformed it's military into one cohesive unit. By order of the Magnates all able bodied citizens were called to serve in the Adenian military. They were determined to expand and cover the void that the Empire had left.
Will you stand in their way? Or will you pave the roads with their dead enemies?

What is this?
A small mod that changes a few things of Sod as well as implements some new things. It's mainly meant to be played with the Adenians, but you can play any faction you want. I made this mod for personal use, but I'm sharing it as well, just for the sake of sharing :smile:

Features
-High Reinforcements limit. (longer battles)
-Polished Landscapes
-New Ambient Music
-Large Battle Maps
-Double the lord unit count (larger battles)
-Companions don't complain
-Companions keep the armor you give them when they become lords
-Companions recruit player faction troops (troops from the culture of the fief you give them)
-New units for the Adenians
-Very powerful companions and mainland/away lords.
-New items

Requirements
-Warband 1.143 (May work with other versions, but that's your call) (http://download2.taleworlds.com/mb_warband_setup_1143.exe)
-Sword of Damocles: Warlords 3.92 with patch 3
-7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/)

Suggestions/Notes
-Use this with the Warband Script Enhancer (http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=151194.0) (Download the 2.8.1 one if you have Warband 1.143) for unlimited corpses on the battlefield (http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=204748.0)
-If you chose to play the Adenians, make sure you select them as your heritage and select "The One" as your religion.
-Adenian Noble's have party bonuses. Good for Regiments as well.

Known Bugs
-Trees might grow inside the taverns (too much mead + side effect of Polished Landscapes)

In the last couple of screenshots I was fighting King Ragnar and his 700 man army with the help of one Allied Magnate and his 300 men.
 
I might update this mod further when the next SOD comes out.
Some of the features I have planned is:

-"Mighty Heroes" All lords/kings/companions and unique units will be very strong, most should be able to kill a skilled player. I'm thinking of boosting all of their combat skills, and their strenght to around 150 or 200 for high health value. Proficiency skills should be around 350-410 for some player smacking fun. Other skills such as leadership etc will vary between different lords.
It should take a group of units to kill one of these "Heroes".

-Look over the different factions and equip their top-tier units with better armour to make them more balanced against the currently slightly OP Adenians.

-Rebalance the Adenians

-Look into the possibility of adding non noble champion and banner bearer/battle standard class top tier units for all factions.

-Might change all units to make them last longer in combat. (more health for all)

Hey people, I just removed the sendspace link as it seems like it wanted to send you an .exe file instead of the 7zip file.
If any of you downloaded this mod through sendspace, make sure you check your computer.
This must have been added recently, as I did not see this when I first uploaded and downloaded my mod from sendspace to test it.
So be careful.
 
Great work on the mod! Though, I do have to ask. I'm not as fond of the new ambient music as I was of the pre-mod SoD music. Is it possible to get that music back and keep all of the other features of the mod? Thanks!
 
Just tried this superbe mode and captured my first castle (as a Marinian against the Sarranids).
Now I'm wondering that my party size is still limited to around 120 men - the enemies have with this mod nearly 400 men per party and in cities.
My companion bonus is still zero (but I have found 9 for my party so far), the marshal bonus is still zero, the right to rule only +1.

Is this true , to have only such a small party limit with this mod and the enemies have nearly 4-times the size ?
Or is there abug when you are playing with a other fraction (Marinians) - to have the Adenians later as a strong enemie to fight against...
Or I'm doing something wrong ?

The download link seem to work fine for me.
Maybe it's your browser or something else?

People are free to upload this mod if the download link doesn't work.
Just be sure to always check the files and make sure it's a 7-zip or zip file and not an .exe.

I think you can just avoid dragging in the music folder and the music.txt file when installing and the music should stay the same.
As to getting it back, try deleting the files mentioned above, then install original sod with patch3 to an alternate folder and take their music.txt and music files and move them into the modified SOD folder.
Not sure if there's another way.

Should be no bugs playing with other factions.
You should naturally get a larger party size with more renown and by becoming a king. But if you can't wait for that or want to run with a huge party early on and are willing to cheat, you can also export your character in the character screen and modify his charisma, make it 100+ or something like that.
 
Well, what browser do you use? I'm using Google Chrome, without 2Shared registration, and any other software, just normally downloading it with the Chrome Download, but it seems to loop when I click that Download button below the advertisment.
