[OSP][Item] Dark Age Pack- .160 Release Done

I am trying to take a break from making classical stuff(a very short one) and I want to make a small OSP. Maybe a shield or sword will go with the axe so I can have fun trying various models. If you guys have any sources such as Anglo-Saxon/Viking Shield designs or swords, please list them in the post.

Yea, I intended it to be weak but it showed up in Openbrf very strongly.

Yeah, looks pretty wild. Considered doing some dark age byzantine stuff? Seems to be somewhat neglected, and does feel like we already have more daneaxes and viking shields than we know what to do with.

Also, I'd remove those crosses on the blade, look somewhat weird, bit asymmetrical.

I can make a variation without them. I kinda made them from an axe example so this dane axe will stand out. If you want to consider something else made, like something in the Eastern Empire, post it.

That is indeed a pretty sweet Dane axe. Personally, I like the little cross details. That's a good metal texture too.

I made it look better. There's one issue of gimp messing up my .dds files that I will fix when I get home. Afterwards, I'll try to fix the shield because it looks weak now graphically. Then I'll maybe make an axe and be done with the pack for now.

I dunno, I don't really think that the tassel on the pommel will look good without some kind of animation. It will be unnaturally stiff in game.

True. Maybe it might be a good idea to remove it. It's probably not worth the polies.
