Point of historical accuracy

Just a small point on the historical accuracy of units. There was no such thing as a longbow or a longbowman at this period in history, The word longbow was coined much later. The English Archer was referred to as just that, an archer. The longbow was more accurately referred to as just the bow. Occasionally there is reference to the warbow and greatbow but the word longbow was not used.
 
He's right. He didn't say there weren't longbows, but the term wasn't beeing used in medieval times.
 
It's like chainmail, mail or maille was used for that form of armour. Chainmail was a Victorian coinage.
