Hello community, so I don't recall there being a thread specifically for awesome paintings for the Napoleonic Wars.
So basically post your favourite paintings depicting whatever parts of the Napoleonic wars, whether its whats in the painting that you find great or the lighting, or an epic particular part of a painting that you like, any painting based in the era you like, post it here.

I'll start with mine:
Old Guard Chasseurs charging at Waterloo

An Old Guard Grenadier who looks a lot like my ingame character

Some of these were used in MM Russia for the main menu. By Alexander Yuryevich Averyanov:

The Defense of Smolensk

Battle of Preußische-Eilau, 1807, attack of the Moscow Regiment (the mitres are probably erroneous for 1807, and I don't know if it's meant to be the Moscow Grenadier Regiment or just the grenadier battalion of the Moscow Infantry Regiment - the banners suggest the former)

That last one is very nice mr_T. You can even see the sergeant-major with the Guidon.

Hmm, their doesn't seem to be any enemy soldiers to identify the nationality they are fighting against.

Lol. No. Show me a picture!

They are fighting Russians, and my guess would in the 1807 war in Poland.
Edit: Probably Elyau

Russian where traditionally dressed in green. They could be fighting in Poland maybe during the winter war? I do not know though.

But all you see are 2 men with old guards hats which the Russians did not wear and their musicians. This is clearly french casualties.

Yes I believe its Eylau, seeing as its the most famous battle fought in 1807 really, and the Old Guard Grenadiers indeed charged the town with the bayonet, and I thought with those black plumes they could be Prussian, but they're probably Russian seeing as they have the traditional red collars, its a good painting though
