Standard Old Dueling
Robo's Dueling Hut Kicks Ass!
With the return to more traditional tournaments, as with Calamity's Battle Tournament, I've considered a more old-style dueling tournament. Standard 1v1, any melee weapon available except for hammers, and first to 7 format. This tournament will also have a single elimination, 32 player standard format with each bracket taking a week to play.
This is simple and this is easy. No hassle or fuss, just simple dueling. In case of a problem with scheduling and a match is not played out within a week, extensions will be considered. Laziness is not an excuse, and in such a situation, the player who put in the most effort towards getting a match done receives the auto-win. As a duelist, you're expected to not be a **** and show basic courtesy to your opponent.
Rules are common sense. I'll administrate the tournament. It is a NA dueling tourney, so please keep that in mind. I will make Unicorn's_Oval_Office available for dueling, and it is a NY server. Please keep in mind that even on a NY server, most Europeans get around 120 ping. Do not join this tournament and complain about ping. With that said, however, NA players are obligated towards giving their EU opponents a fair duel by fighting on a North American server of the Euro's choice. This is the best way to make this fair.
Everything else will be taken on a case-by-case basis. First 32 people to sign up player, if there's enough demand I may extend this to be a 64-player tournament, however that is very unrealistic.

- All NA vs. NA duels will be played under reasonable ping. If one person is lagspiking, then this is grounds for a reschedule if a screenshot is taken. I'd personally define anything above 100 for an NA player as 'lagspiking'.
- All NA vs. EU duels must be played on a suitable East Coast duel server, unless the NA player is having ping above 95. If this occurs, then the European player must choose a Central server.
- All duels must be played within a week. If they are not, an appeal for an extension may be granted for a maximum of 4 days.
- If no effort is made to contact your opponent within the allocated week without an extension, you will forfeit.
- Duels may be played on any map and any arena, so long as both players consent to it. If a suitable place can not be found, the duelists must duel inside the circular arena on Arena.
- No hammers may be used, or shields, or ranged weapons, or other obvious ****.
- Each dispute will be taken on a case-by-case basis. PM logs, Steam logs, and screenshots are very useful in making a dispute.
- You must PM me if you want to file for an extension.
- All duels must be fought naked or with default armor.
