Sort of.

There are still deadlines, so the deadline for Watly v.s. Killerbart is next Monday. The match has to be completed by then.

It is possible, but not encouraged, to duel someone early, although there is nothing obligating any player to do so, and it makes everything quite a bit more complicated.
