I like 'em.
Haven't got any suggestions at present, but wanted to give this the ol' nod of support.

Only thing I question is how visible that symbol on the caravan guy is and if it looks alright from a distance

Seems I'll have to find some simpler symbol. :-)

Update. Current line of cavalry. Two more are expected (chainmailed khergit and leather/chain medium horseman).

Here's a bunch I've done for teatrc. There are recoloured bandit camps and Native tents included (both pre-scaled). Not sure if the normal map for the ten will show up on the world map.

Go for it - most of the texture are from Native (there's a slab of pork on top of some silk on top of the Caravan icon). A link would be nice I guess.

I'm not planning anything like this at the moment - most of my OSP releases are just side-effects of my modding project, and I have already switched to different tasks. Maybe some day if I find that my and Somebody's icons are not enough. Though that's highly unlikely. In fact, if Somebody released his pack a few days before, I wouldn't even start on mine. :-)
