Hello I thought of an idea, why don't I and some other people create mod, a role-play mod called Mount and Blade: Skyrim. It will be a story driven single player campaign.

This will include factions with there own entity, and many more exiting features, you will embark on a trail as you would do in Oblivion to become Dragonborn, and it will be your duty to what happens to the whole of Skyrim itself.

The campaign map will be created around all the areas in Skyrim, so it would give the atmosphere that you are actually in Skyrim itself.
this is just a basic explanation for the mod more shall be added and done to the taleworlds thread, the thread is in Alpha stages and when all the ideas have been put together and implemented the taleworlds post shall be completed.

Things to Do


Finish making the thread
Get a Modding team together
Reply to all hate comments, on the basis of the lack of information.

The sort of armor I will work on creating first will be Viking styled armor, so I will look around for anybody who are willing to provide armor like this, also I will be looking next for some early roman armor which will supplement, the Imperials and the Nords


The first thing I would do as the lead developer of this mod, is that I am going to ask a mod like Vikingr for example, for some of the armor so I may use it can be used mainly as the armor of the stormcloaks etc.

Hiring Modders NOW!!! £0.01 a hour!



 
I really don't want to bash you or to make you leave that, but this is really a bad idea, specially for a first mod, i understand that you are so happy about playing that you want to see it in warband, but trust me, this is not the best idea you could have, you'd better start with something much simpler, like adding a bunch of factions to calradia

and also, this is the wrong board

Agreed... A first mod idea is pretty far-fetched to be based on Skyrim.

Not when you do it step by step.
 
But just for the beginning..you need a scripter. I mean, I'm making alot of MP Roleplay codes (Not OSP though....), but I'm not doing it for a mod this big. If you guys get a team (or at least an able scripter with skills like Vornne or Shredz) then you may finish it....

Problem being that high level scripters (well any high lvl folks really) either already are in a team and/or are working on their own projects. They will not join your team unless a big amount of progress has already been made, though if you have some talent they may let you join their team.

So yeah... if you want to do this, then you better get started with building a solid base by yourself. Once you have that others may start helping you or even join your team.
 
Oh, that's a bad idea. You should not pay modders hourly, cause then we will just sit on our asses and do nothing (just lika painters and carpenters :razz:). They should get 0.01£ per script or model.

Skyrim mod? That would be great. I am pretty sure that this will takes a lot of time building the mod though. Good luck, supported. :grin:

Seriously, I am trying to figure out what exactly he wants different than Skyrim itself, other than it being in this game's engine.  I mean, it doesn't say anything about an interest in co-op play or enhanced strategic warfare....the two things that warband can do that Skyrim itself can't.

Well whatever, if someone wants to work their ass off for little real gain, it isn't my business.
