LAST Vids of 1860s V. 0.99, super kindly made by TOXIC NOVA !!!!!!!!!!
ARTILLERY, GATLING GUN, ORDERS AND FORMATIONS
He shows some aspects of the artillery. How it is possible to play it and how I like it most.

"First rule: Aim every time on your enemy. Means if he is flanking you take the gun and drop it again.
Second rule: "Reloading" of cannons. like at 1:25 or at 5:10.
And never do what I have done at 6:40. This looks and feels childish and destroys the immersion of the mod. It's cheating. (my point of view)"
He shows a bit how fantastic the line battle improvements are with the ability to form ranks. Big  thanks to Harlef for this.
"If you compare this annoying line with the ones of the other videos you see how great the improvement is.
It is also great for artillery use because you can make them more compact and it is now much easier to send the own troops in front of you and not to shoot them".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPvw24d9eKs&feature=youtu.be

He made some more battles to show again the Orders and Line battle Formations (thx again to Harly!!)

Here he fought against bandits that tried to slave the poor population of Hightower.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYZV1g0M0Ak&feature=youtu.be

This was a hunt down of some bandits at Columbus.
He tested some different formations and his most favorite is the 3 rows!!. The first row knees down, second row stands behind and third row is a bit shifted.
He likes the sounds, expecially with the Swords: drawing it a trumpet charge randomly sounds, and putting it away, U shout a FALL BACK order!!.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRUx9FXTtsg&feature=youtu.be

Then, he tried to hunt down some deserters.
And he likes how it is possible to use the old abandoned fortifications  that I added in common Battles. Randomly, U can seek and find 4 different types of Hideouts that I made, with an inventory Chest to refill ammos and guns!
Sadly, ALL deserters were sharpshooters and he had to retreat. But got shot and ....captured!

Very interesting video, showing some interesting informations
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPiDqUB9k1I&NR=1
Confederate soldier Julius Howell talking about his capture and imprisonment at the Union prison camp at Point Lookout, Md. Howell was born in 1846 near the Holy Neck section of Suffolk, in the Holland area. He was the youngest of 16 children, the son of a prominent Baptist minister. His daddy wouldn't allow him to join the army until he was 16½, he says in his account.
He saw action guarding the Blackwater River against Yankees until his regiment was called to help defend Richmond in 1864. By then, he was a corporal and courier for two generals.

In April 1865, Howell was taken prisoner at the battle of Sailor's Creek and was transported to Point Lookout, Md., a notorious Union prison. He was there when he heard about the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln.

"I arose pretty early," he says. "There were 20,000 of us there. I saw a flag pole, and a flag stopped halfway."

The youth, a slightly built man with bright red hair, knew what it meant.

"I stuck my head in a tent and said, 'Boys, there must be some big Yankee dead.' "

A guard told the men later that the president had been shot. Howell says he felt no hatred toward Lincoln, only kindness.

"We didn't fight for the preservation or extension of slavery," he says. "It was a great curse on this country that we had slavery. We fought for states' rights, for states' rights."

After the war, Howell taught at Reynoldson Institute in Gates County, N.C. He soon left teaching and went to the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a history degree. From there, he went on to Harvard and got a doctorate in history.

Howell was a history professor at the University of Arkansas. He eventually headed the department. In 1901, he was named president of Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, where he served for 50 years.

Howell was forever loyal to the South. He became state commander of the Tennessee Confederate Veterans and, in 1940, was named commander-in-chief of the national United Confederate Veterans.

In 1942, Life magazine did a spread on Howell. Several photos of the old gentleman show him dressed in his Confederate uniform. Because legislators wanted to hear more from the Confederate veteran, Howell addressed the combined Congress of the United States in Washington in 1944, when he was 98, and that is when it is believed this tape was made.

Four years later, in February 1948, on his 102nd birthday, the city of Bristol threw a party. His old friend, actress Mary Pickford, and her family attended.

Howell, who had never been sick a day in his life, died the following June.

Julius Howell was the great-great-uncle of former ANV Commander Russell Darden.

Very good, ......I mean VERY!
At start I thought it was messy, cause the image was strange....then I got it was like a "vision", a particular state of things that Indians often had huh? (I think I was the only one that got that!  )
Sooo good and original.
Also some filming from close and angles and zooming, had his impact!

Only thing: no credits for the Gabrilduro' s team that made 1860s Old America. The very first Western indian Mod for Warband
Not saying it just for a sign of gratitude for all the efforts my team and me put in making the Mod (which is, btw, the only thing we get for Modding; ppl thanking/crediting us )
But also because if one person watches on youtube this vid, and is in a hurry, he will never know there is a MOD on that.
And he will never visit our forums....and never have the advantage that you and all players had: PLAYING it!
.....and may be he could have HELPED us, with some new GREAT issues, that would make this Mod awsome....and all players and you happier to play it.

The Lakota thought the circle was a magic and important symbol, that rapresented the order of things and life, in general.
Expecially, in this case, my point is that a circle takes you to the same point, in this case to yourself, if you go all around the circle.
So....for example you make a vid>a person watches it>he sees the Credits and then he helps us modding>makes great improvements>YOU play a better version. The circle is closed.

Not saying this to you in particular, but to the many ppl that happen not to look at things from this point of view, you know?

Thx anyways for doing it, is a good video, really.
And.....one of the few on the indian side....
